The Klitschkos have made their desperation known to the entire world, which is a huge mistake! Haye knows the Klitschkos need him more than he needs them, and he is going to stall and work this leverage to the max. Not very exciting for the average fan, but its Chinese water torture to the Klitschkos.
Haye is a real threat to them and thats why he is causing so many headaches to K2 and to the people of this forum. If it was some random- chicken calling them out like Hopkins, I dont think theyd care. But because David has Youth, Speed and Power, they must keep a serious eye on him. They have to eliminate Haye before he gets too dangerous to stop.
Haye is a smart lad, and hes not going to blindly rush two hulking giants without a plan. His goal is NOT to fight the Klitschko's, but to fight them and WIN! And when you are in a 1 vs 2 battle you need every strategic and psychological advantage you can get. Stalling works in the 29 year olds favor and against the 34+ and 38+ Klitschkos.

^^^You have to swing Stegosaurus type Balls to wear a shirt like that. Haye is not scared of either brother, but he will continue to joust until hes ready to kill.
If you call mind raping waiting until they are as old as dust.
Decent strategy. But I think its more important for Haye to get better rather than for the Klits to get old.
Wladimir didnt fight anyone with a name until his 35th fight which was against Monte Barrett. Haye has fought 3 names already at Heavy in only 25 fights.
Let Haye grow, it will be better for him, and better the Klitschkos if they happen to beat a better Haye.
so, did you just admit that Haye is waiting for both Klitschkos to get old because that's the only way he believes he stands a chance at defeating either one of them?
wow that's sad.
Amen... :lol1:
Yeah he also has a higher chance if they get older, I have to agree with that.
Its the dirty little secret in boxing, Age-draining your opponent, a lot of all-time greats have benefited from this.
Holmes waited for Ali
Floyd waited for Mosley
Vitali tried to do it with Lennox in the rematch
Marciano fought a lot of old guys in his career.
If Haye is doing this, which Im 75% sure he is, I cant really knock him for it. He is the smaller guy coming from a smaller weightclass and he is facing two enormous giants same time. Cant blame the guy for working all of his advantages.
I dont think he plans to fight Wlad in 2010 to be honest, I think he wants to squeeze another step-up in competition before facing the Klitschkos. Does that make him a coward ? I dont think so. He is basically a cruiserweight with only 3 bouts at Heavyweight...Think about that for a second...No one else in history has been rushed at this pace to fight the #1 Heavyweight.
I would like to see him fight Povetkin or Adamek first and Vitali after that. Wlad is the toughest so he should save him for last...
If he fights Wlad now he has a 40% chance of winning, if he gets experience(2 more fights) |I think his chances double to 80%.

Is there a possibility Haye feels that way, yes I believe there is. I think that he probably sees himself as having the mental advantage now and that keeping quiet will add to that advantage for negotiations. Is that reality? I'm not sure but we'll know in the next couple of months, because if the fight doesn't get signed soon, there is no fight in 2010.

Is there a link to the story or anything?
It was a while back, it was basically when Vitali wanted to fight David and then David did his own thing with Valuev, or at least if I remember correctly.
You do know absolutely no one in the U.S. cared about that fight and Ruiz is even from here. It wasn't televised here whatsoever.
The fight with Ruiz was generating crazy buzz in the fight community, and everyone from Briggs, to Adamek, Arreola, Bernard Hopkins, called Haye out afterwards. Wlad shot his terminator video a week after the fight was finished. You yourself made at least 10 threads about Haye after that fight. You cant deny that Haye gets people buzzing!
Haye sees his options and is now purposely dragging his feet as he realizes the power he wields in the Heavyweight division. All he has to do is say the word and this entire forum will go banannas again, you know it and I know it.
He just fought last month and twice in the last 6 months! His fight with Ruiz generated more interest than Vitali and Wlads last bouts put together(outside of Eastern Europe)

I disagree with this part. I believe it takes balls to actually get in the ring and fight, not to wear a t-shirt.
Haye is a threat to the Klit bros, that's without doubt, as are they major threats to him. It's all posturing at the moment, I have no doubt that Vlad is trying to force Haye into a corner by making him out to be a coward so that Haye has to sign some bullshit deal. This fight, like May-Pac will definitely happen imo, it's just a matter of dealing with all the ego's involved and thrashing out a deal that as acceptable for them all.
Wrong the Klitshkos dont need him, they can keep fighting Albert Sosnowskis and still make their multi zero checks. They are already established unlike Haye where he is still trying to make a name for himself in the heavyweights and legacy wise.
