This is in no way to give pac's team an excuse about the shoulder injury issue they have truly mishandled. This is about the lawsuits and impending penalty the nsac is about to issue... in a nutshell, the fans were looked upon as cheated...pac not being 100% during the fight... i now wonder if fighters who cheated on the scales, were not in effect also cheating the fans....if so, were there any lawsuits from the fans or sanctions imposed by authorities? just asking..

I am on my most generous self today, so I would say that floyd's credentials as a whole up to date is but 35% talent and 65% pop corn... what's your take?

got to see victor on the expendables... he did look good on action movie... but what impressed me was that rocky did not give victor the hugging scenes...otherwise it would be hilarious!!!, at least to me... the hugging scenes were given to banderas; who i think stole the thunder away from rocky and the transporter....

The latest split decision where provo lost got some to think of another bad scoring/judging brouhaha... this got me to revisit the issue of how one is to judge over mean or big punches landed and the so called "feather tap"...... your views on this..pls

some agree on the legality of floyd's left-right combo that ended the vic fight in the 4th round... others just see the same combo as a cheap shot to an easy victory... others lament the ref's very poor handling of the fight... and the debate goes on and on... boxing is still a sport..... fouls or no fouls...... sportsmanship still matters... over and above anything else.... i would have posted this in another thread dealing with the same topic... but i am so lucky to be on the ts ignore list

Larios made pac sweat it out for 12 rounds some years back..... Aside from that, he is well remembered and liked by even manila pac fans bcoz of his very good and humble personality... any one who knows where he is at now and how he is doing? info highly appreciated

i might be seeing ghosts here, but could not help notice high ppv turnouts being used to hype a bout up as a "great fight".... high ppv's could mean...say like.... the fight got the interest of a lot of people and went ppv's to watch the fight the fight promotional ventures was great and got the result above the fight was one most people wanted to see based on fighters records etc.. however, high ppv's do not automatically equate to; a great fight or a very close contested fight...as this depends on the showing of both fighters...an after the ppv sales element... the fight could also be a boring one for the same reason have i missed something???

Zab to demand ost vs khan......(sort of a chorus? here) floyd on a mission to clean the sport of boxing....cool? conte on a mission to clean the sport of boxing....hmmmm floyd vs vic...(an excuse given for not submitting deposition) what's next?

just a thought... with the way the court cases against pbf are going, it may be high time for him to get the services of really top notch lawyers.... he can avail of the legal services of some of the posters here...they are very brilliant and passionate too.....

just my ten cents on why pbf opted to come out of retirement/vacation and fight vic; 1. as a first step to reclaim no. 1 p4p ranking. 2. as a first step to many tune up fights b4 facing pac. 3. to earn more money to pay irs, funds for court cases, etc. 4. pbf can use this as an excuse not to submit deposition (he did use this). 5. to serve as a broken image damage control 6. he feels he needs to be busy in the ring to avoid doing more bad outside of it

We would like to see a quick resolution to the Donaire issues with the promoters. It will be nice to see him back in action....

Can not help but noticed that there are posts here in this forum that "fail" when the correct order of events presentation is made as basis for analyzing the post/statements...Even in boxing you start the fight per Round 1, 2 3 and so on unless the fight was stopped for one reason or another..... For example,posts that intimate the "law suit filed by pac vs pbf might be a pac/pbf fight killer and that in effect pac has to be blamed for the fight not happening" forget or ignored why in the first place the law suit was filed... if the above was just a case of intentionally passing the buck or not is a question left to be answered.

the way things are going in the court. pac is just a few steps from collecting pbf payments from the law suit pbf is considered a better fighter or more crafty than pac....but it now appears the one going to the bank for the money is wiser...... pac/pbf fight not happening = $ 0.00 pac winning court case = $$$$$ any one has an idea how much? just asking

The on-going mind games or chess games if you may say, between pac and pbf are turning out to be as interesting as a full 12 rounds bout... first, pbf tried to impose his will on pac regarding the ost issue.....pac did not budge.....and pac made a counter that requires pbf to go to the court of law..where pbf has still pending cases...(just like attacking a chess opponent on his weak side)...pbf did not budge presently, it is adjourned he he he (needs magistrate action/decision how to proceed)

I have to admit not being up to date as far as vic's previous bouts went....so this means i should refrain from giving any predictions on the pbf/ortiz fight... for those who are in the know on both fighters style, can vic really do a buster?

Back when Pac's rivalry with Erik, Marco, JMM and other Mexicans was on its peak...when some animosity between the fighters were hyped up (don't know if all true or hyping for sales purposes)....could recall that Erik, Marco, JMM, Solis etc...were all warmly received and recognized by the fans in Manila/Phil.,,,with some fans also getting their way to get some photos and signed up mementos...

Buster busted the invincibility mantle of mike.... However, i have yet to see any rating showing buster over mike...atg or whatever...

Can not help but wonder on the proliferation of "self-proclaimed ped experts" regarding the issues or accusations vs pac....the manner and the substance of what they posted in this forum seemed to indicate they know all the "secrets or magic powers" the peds give pac... Challenge 1: Dare you to use the peds you can expertly talk about and go up the ring....this may make you perhaps richer than pac, gbp etc... Challenge 2: This one is easy...just go to gbp and/or pbf camp...they will give you $ for the solid verifiable info.... Challenge 3: If you can not do Challenges 1 or 2 above, stop pretending you know and could prove pac is using peds.

Can not but help to notice some posters penchant to solely equate the who beats who in their bold predictions of who will win a coming bout. Their simple reasoning is like if Fighter B won over C who won over A...knee jerk conclusion is that B will be it over A....and funny thing such claims that B is therefore greater than both A & C, or is now a member of the goat list etc., etc.... Many fighters have won over Ali...also true for others like leonard, duran, hearns, hagler....but most of these guys who won over the mentioned fighters were never really considered greater... why? the answers are more complex than the ingredients of any invented drug or imagined concoction mixed/soaked to oil laden sea water....with carcasses of dead birds, fishes and men....

When other boxers b4 pac occupied more than one titles in different weight classes, no one lifts a finger nor an eyebrow nor issued derogatory remarks or accusations..........these boxers got praised and lifted to higher pedestals...why pac is singled out and subjected to baseless accusations is smacking of double standards...just so pac got more titles than any one.....do we let innuendos and whimsical demands rule the day.....do we want more chaos in boxing????

After the jmm bout, and without any solid indication for a pac/pbf fight, pac should retire while he is on top and just focus on his congressman role...... there is nothing more for him to prove in boxing....challenges from young fighters will always abound but pac is under no obligation to fight all young comers...for there will always be young fighters lured by the fame/glitter and good money boxing brings...

Just a simple request for posters to uphold the rules on posting in this forum and to refrain from any racist, hateful or indecent comments....let us all enjoy a healthy and objective discussions on the sports we love..boxing
