wow it looks like they are completely out of the picture now that haymon stuck it to them. it really looks like espinoza should be fired. anybody know if they will even have anything halfway decent on the horizon?
I agree. I think we will see a few of them on HBO.
well we found out matthysse is no longer a haymon piece. he will be a prominent piece for GBP. It will be interesting to see what happens with khan
thats true but their ties to haymon are somewhat unclear after the golden boy promotions settlement. oscar got to keep khan, matthysse and santa cruz. i haven't seen it clearly stated that they are still advised by haymon. oscar is looking to get them on hbo i'm sure and i think hbo would play ball with oscar if haymon is out of the picture

I think he has longer then a year. And I think investors are footing the bill.
I'm not saying Haymon & Espinoza arer friends and have each over for Thanksgiving dinner but think their business associates that are working together for their own gain.
your kind if proving my point, he's going to have 30 mil to make qaulity fights( probably stack the 2nd half of the year) not the rubbish that was force fed us last year. Haymons not going to leave 30 mil on the table unused . I think fights will be made and there going to be really good Id rather have 6-12 good stacked cards then 15-25 garbage ones.
Just give it some time. We"ll see soon enough.
i absolutely agree with you. 6 stacked cards is a great year! showtime only had the khan-alexander card that was ok but underperformed with the thurman snoozer. espinoza needs to stop being a cum rag and force haymon to give him quality or else spend elsewhere
Don't count on it. Also, if Mayweather does fight TBA on May 2 on PPV and Alvarez fights James Kirkland or anyone else on the same date on HBO, there will be more people who will pay to watch Mayweather fight TBA than there will be who watch Alvarez for free on HBO.
Canelo for free or Floyd vs TBA on PPV ..... unless its against Manny, for most that will be an easy one to pick! Especially if they are going to rerun Floyd vs Cotto. The first one was 5 years too late and there was no controversy in their first fight. Again, easiest decision ever for most people.
Showtime as we have known it the last two years is done. Back to Showbox as there premiere boxing showing. They will probably have the occasional big fight.
All the focus is likely on Mayweather vs Pacquiao right now, eventually I think they will start to announce fights. Haymon Roster is DEEP, well over 100 fighters so it is plenty to go around for ALL NETWORKS!
That's unfortunate, they put on a high quality broadcast. They've been in the game a long time it would be kinda ****ed up if they're done, lots of history there.
Don't worry about Showtime. It still has Floyd Mayweather for two more fights. Also, there are plenty of up-and-coming boxers and those that are not signed to Haymon or Top Rank that they can feature. Rigondeaux is one that immediately comes to mind. Some of the foreign fighters are also potential candidates for fights on Showtime. In addition, you have the fighters who are signed to Jay Z's new company.
Showtime already featured one fight this year that scored higher ratings than any fight on HBO in 2013. Showtime will have a great year.
That sure doesn't help the subscribers since Floyd only fights on PPV.
Just as an aside, I'm giving SHO until the end of Floyd's contract. If the schedule is still as weak as it currently is, you can bet I'm unsubscribing.

lol do you actually believe that dude? I mean really believe that.
If they both were free, I'd watch Mayweather, no doubt. But Canelo vs. Kirkland (FREE) against Mayweather/Cotto ($75), no question in my mind I'm going with the Canelo fight.
Not to mention I am so pissed at Floyd right now I can't even speak. Even Stephen A. Smith said he's boycotting Floyd's fight till Pac gets made. I am in the same boat and I bet you a lot of other folks are too right about now.
Haymon's big names wont be fighting on NBC Sports Net or ****e TV. I think they'll keep them on Showtime and NBC. They only have 4 NBC cards and 2 of them are already set up , so I think we'll still get some cards on Showtime hopefully not mismatches.
TBA has a shot at a upset here

Well it's definitely a problem.
Haymon has 1 year to make this premier boxing league work as I see it. it's doubtful if no networks pick it up, that he will go out of pocket again to buy all that air time.
To think he gives a crap about Espinoza or Showtime is very doubtful. I have no doubt he will milk some $ out of them still, but as of now Showtime has already lost 10 fighters to NBC/****e, it's only going to get worse.
Showtime has 0 moved they can make, Haymon would hang them if they ever went outside of Haymon to make fights. Showtime has a 30 million $ budget and has 0 leverage, how does that even happen?

I don't think it's a problem . Haymon just released his NBC cards last week, ****e card today , they're going to want to get some traction with those announcements before showtime releases anything . Just let it all play out
Call me a optimist but I'd like to believe that Showtime they are going to use their budget on big time fights because you know Haymons going to be charging gouging the price on his fighters paydays.
I could be wrong and Haymon could straight take a s.h..it all over Espinoza face and Give him no qaulity fights but with Mayweather still over at Showtime Indont think that is the case
