replied to Pathetic if Fury doesn't beat Usyk.
I don't know where you got the idea that Usyk has been dropped multiple times from. As a pro, he has never been dropped by a legal punch, body or head. You have to go right back to his amateur days to find one instance of him being dropped by a body punch. And that was at HW against Beterbiev, who might...

Fury might have gone into the Ngannou fight expecting to play with Francis, but what actually happened was something very different.

I don't see any way he demolishes Usyk. He might beat him, but neither of these guys is going to demolish the other....

I agree, Kronk style Fury won't beat Usyk.

The question is - can he still fight in his old style well enough and for long enough to beat Usyk?...

Fury wasn't playing with Ngannou when he got countered and decked by a left hook, or when he lunged in trying to clinch and got tossed contemptuously into the ropes like a rag doll. He was struggling, badly.

The way AJ effortlessly disposed of Francis 3 months later illustrated just how...

The Fury who beat Wilder in the second fight, using those same tactics, would not beat Usyk. Coming in at 270lb+ and relying on size and strength to bully the opponent was the perfect approach against a guy like Wilder - tall and upright, no head movement, no defensive footwork and no clue how to fight...

Yes, context is King, which is why I'm not trying to judge the outcome of a fight on the basis of size and knock downs suffered against other opponents.

Some people make the mistake of thinking the best possible version of Fury is a hybrid of the highly mobile, 247lb, slick, back-foot boxer...

Whatever you think of the rest of the division, Usyk and Fury can both fight. Anybody who can't see that for himself DKSAB....

Usyk is an ATG cruiserweight and has had 3 very good wins at HW since moving up. He has never been dropped by a legitimate punch.

Fury, on the other hand, has been dropped 7 times, once by a novice having his first ever fight and 6 times by opponents no bigger and certainly no better than...

  • A lot of people don't get this, but VADA reporting a positive test result is not VADA announcing that they caught somebody cheating..

All VADA do is take samples, analyse them, and report anything that they believe needs investigating.

  • VADA didn't screw up on the test.

They reported what they found and after more tests he was cleared on the Norandrosterone.

  • I don't know if you're a trainer or a nutritionist, but whatever, there's no need to tell fighters not to use over the counter supplements. As long as you check the ingredients against an up to date list of banned substances and keep purchase receipts, they will be fire proof.

    Most trainers/nutritionist...

Maybe, but in most other places, that's tiny!

If they test positive but can prove that supplements they ingested were...

Clue: It doesn't mean that you have to see it happening, in real time, with your own eyes....

  • I've heard a lot of talk about Naz recently, for a couple of reasons: One, his son Adaam just had his first pro fight. And two, boxing pundits are comparing Ben Whittaker to Naz. Most of that talk has centred around Naz's love of showboating, and the amount of talent it takes to be able to showboat...
