How is the context wrong? Sarcasm is the wrong word here. Sarcasm is related to negative comments.

    sar·casm
    ˈsärˌkazəm
    noun
the use of irony to mock or convey contempt.
"his voice, hardened by sarcasm, could not hide his resentment"
    synonyms: derision, mockery, ridicule, scorn, sneering, scoffing;

Muay Thai boxers were shin guards and rib protectors sometimes. Don't tell them they're not that tough.
Those comments are exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally which is hyperbole mi amigo.

Referencing the hardest hitting MW (GGG) in the world isn't exactly a fair comparison. This is like 0.00005% of Boxers. Also referencing Thai fighters? Come on man, thats not in the same wheelhouse. Thus, hyperbole.

Dude, it is sarcasm. You need to quit .,
When you said if you can't take body shots ( to that effect ) , boxing is not the sport for you, IS SARCASM.
      It is not hyperbole .
Hyperbole would be something like " His punches can knock down brick walls."

Err, sorry. My claims about Mikey Garcia and Bradley are not hyperbole.
It's not hyperbole when it really happened.

He's not a big name pro. But he is pro. Im not saying hes some badass elite boxer. I'm just saying I see pro's being smart and wearing body protectors, but I don't want anything that big. I was just hoping to get some insight on maybe a light padded shirt to reduce the chance of another rib injury.

It's not exteme at all. Go to ANY mma gym, and I promise you 9 times out of ten they are sparring with shin guards and head gear.

Makes me wonder if this guy has ever been in a gym.

His claim about fighting with a broken rib might be " hyperbole" . lol
            Or just bull****.

And rib guards aren't so rare in muay thai sparring.
