MMA is way rougher. I did that for many years before I ever set foot in a boxing gym. I actually prefer boxing because I don't get hurt As much.
There are too many tough guys here.

Don't even start to talk about Winning headgears with a facebar.

That video is from 2017 but Dhafir Smith (25-25-7) retired in 2014. What's the deal here?

Didn't you say if you had to wear rib protectors, you shouldn't box ?

Dude, most here ARE NOT GOING TO TURN PRO.
And in the amateurs, body shots are rare anyway.
Most here just box and spar .
Most here are not going to spend hours with the medicine ball. Not gonna do side crunches ala Pac , GGG and Loma .

The floating rib is soft for most. Easy to get hurt .

Even Mikey Garcia sent his much bigger sparring partner to the hospital with a rib injury.
Even Timothy Bradley went to the hospital with a rib injury from sparring with Magdaleno.

Muay Thai boxers were shin guards and rib protectors sometimes. Don't tell them they're not that tough.

You're making all these extreme references and it's honestly hyperbole at this point.

Well , quit asking who uses them and checking their records then.

Do you even know what hyperbole means?

Yes. And you are using it in the wrong context.
What you really mean is sarcasm.
