          I didnt read the "better for your joints" part.

          Lower weight higher reps is obviously better for your joints... but if you want to build muscle, you're going to need to mix in some heavier weight at some point.

                      For sure, I mix in what I call a "dirty meal" with the healthy stuff a few bananas make for a good preworkout meal but lack the caloric value needed for the day.
