Some people never experience gains from creatine because their diet is already very meat protein rich. People who eat mostly plant proteins vegetarians etc. usually experience the best results. That's not to say if you eat meat you won't experience gains.
I eat a huge amount of meat and creatine was definitely beneficial. Just remember to drink more water than usual. Creatine without extra water can cause cramp, I didn't realise this until I started getting cramp in the calf quite bady.
