    Depends on your diet, creatine occurs naturally in most meat and your body can only ever use so much creatine.

    Some people never experience gains from creatine because their diet is already very meat protein rich. People who eat mostly plant proteins vegetarians etc. usually experience the best results. That's not to say if you eat meat you won't experience gains.

    I eat a huge amount of meat and creatine was definitely beneficial. Just remember to drink more water than usual. Creatine without extra water can cause cramp, I didn't realise this until I started getting cramp in the calf quite bady.

      This exact thing happened to me. I was literally asleep in bed and woke up screaming in pain due to a severe calf cramp. It was constant for probably like 2 minutes or so, but it felt like a month, lol. I was walking around limping for 3 days afterwards. Worst muscle cramp of my life, hands down.

        And if you want another reason to drink more water while on creatine, just look up kidney stones....lol

          Mate, not a nice story but I actually had a Kidney stone when I was taking creatine, though the doctor said it was because I was eating too much protein and no where near enough fibre. But I have no doubt creatine contributed by retaining water.

          Most intense pain I've ever felt, it's not even the when you piss the thing out that's not the horrifically painful part. Its when it travels from the Kidney to the bladder, the prescribed me Codeine didn't even put a dent in the pain.

          So believe me when I tell you I eat so much fibre now and drink water every 10 minutes.

          • I got off creatine once I realized how much sugar they put in those tubs. I'm not trying to get diabetes later in life.

                  It's actually creatinine that causes kidney stones, which creatinine is a product of both creative and meat. So you kind of got a double whammy there lol. Fiber would.probably help, I dunno, just know that you need to flush your kidneys with a lot of liquids constantly.

                    • Was not really feeling the gym at all today but made myself go..chest and back, low weight high reps but only stayed 45 minutes..i figured something is better then nothing...just had low energy today for some reason
