    Your the man, your right

unlike you i am a highly respected member on this board. 200k people post here. you act like that's a bad thing.

and also, unlike you, i keep my involvement with boxing to myself.

thumbs up on another childish retort, though. you're gonna make it with that incredible drive and wealth of knowledge.

honestly, not stepping in with a jab means you have nothing on it, just arm. If you are going to attack generally it will start with stepping in to range at some point.

every punch that can be thrown can have dangerous consequences whether you step in or not. Especially when timed like that.

if you know how to throw a jab you can get leverage on it moving backwards. stepping in certainly adds power but anyone who has to step in to mount respectable force simply has a s.hit jab.

I'm not certain how to throw a jab, I just heard the term for the first time just last week.

Please do tell how you get leverage on a jab while moving backwards without breaking the momentum backwards, Einstein would be scratching his head at that comment....... Rockin'

this is a message board. what successes are you talking about, and what are you trying to do here? i don't know what on earth are you even talking about half the time.

all of this would make much more sense if you weren't yourself an internet based "boxing coach." i'm not trying to be an ******* by making this statement, but when i asked you if you trained any fighters you said that you did not.

training fighters is a result based phenomenon. great trainers develop a great resume by training great fighters. good ones develop a good resume by training good fighters, and so forth. toward that end i wish you all the best. i don't understand what you're doing here if you don't appreciate the members of the forum.

I would hate to think if one of your students questioned one of your techniques.

Would you reply with a snarky sarcastic response?

Or maybe it'd more "hey, my name is Barry. Would you talk to me that way on the Internet? I put up videos of myself talking on the net. What have you ever done?"

What irks me is that good ol' Barry will come here and talk down to people that ask questions or comment on his video about being 'Internet nobodies'....all while being an Internet trainer trying to drum up business on the Internet, using Internet videos on an Internet boxing forum.

He does all this in the guise of 'discussion' but very clearly doesn't want any discussion whatsoever of his videos and is only here to try and get people in to make his Internet presence bigger, all while pretending to be dismissive and above the internet. He's in this to drum up business and create a larger Internet profile. Nothing more. ****ing hilarious.

Barry, a pretentious, self important ******* will nearly always be one and if it makes you feel better to think I wouldn't let you know in person, just like it clearly makes you feel better to spend half your posts listing your credentials and name dropping, go ahead. No skin off my back. You ever get down to Melbourne with your ultra busy, jet setting, 'Internet trainer' lifestyle, you can teach us all how to be sarcastic, conceited jack offs in person.

I am pretty certain that Benny is/was a fighter Barry. I doubt he'd have any qualms about calling you out in person.

Going from your low intensity bag-work and shadowboxing which is more for show than any substance I'd guess you've not even sparred that much.

Not to mention that the advice "stepping in with the jab can be dangerous" is ******, and anyone who has fought would know that in amateur boxing for a shorter fighter, stepping in with the jab is vital to snapping the opponents head back and scoring a point while working their way inside. Most Amateurs don't primarily use the jab as a range finder like the pro's do.
