I usually warm up for a good 5-10 minutes, work out for approximately 4-7 minutes, and cool down for anywheres from 3-12 minutes.

        Depends on the workout.

I tend to do three cardio/circuit workouts each week that consist of 30 mins cardio and 15 mins light/medium weight circuits.

I also then do three weight training workouts which consist of a twenty min warm up, usually light jog followed by a 40 min medium/heavy weights program which concentrate on two body parts each session.

It depends on circumstances and time, I go to a gym to do my cardio work and I do that at 7am before work with my wife, then I do my weights program at home in my garage with friends in the evening.

On top of that I also have a heavy bag and speed ball in my garage so I use those once or twice a week.

These workouts have been defined over around 20 years of trial and error to suit my needs and timetable and resources.

The considerations should be the reasons for working out, if its for general fitness and weight management then you can get away if your diet is OK with training 3 times a week at a steady rate for around an hour, this would keep you trim and your muscles fairly toned and hard.

If you are training for an event i.e. boxing match, marathon etc then you should seek advice from someone who has experience of preparing for these events to establish your needs, this would then most certainly require longer or more intense sessions with defined and planned goals.

Regardless of the exercise as long as its taken reasonably seriously then it is always a good thing to do and some exercise is always better than none!

            I do about 60-80 minutes.

M,W,F I usually stretch for 2-3 minutes. Then jump rope in 3 minute intervals. Between jumping rope I shadow box(about 1 minute each time)to warm up. After about 4-5 jump rope sets I start on the bag. I do about 5-3 minute rounds on the heavy bag. I then finish with push ups and sit ups on the body ball or with the medicine ball with jumping rope inbetween.

Tuesdays and Saturdays I do high rep low weight training for about 20-30 minutes then do 30 minutes of cardio.

L-glutamine is great, especially if you go hard on the bad. I take 2 before my workout then 2 after. I experience very little soreness. Its a great supplement.

When I worked out which has not been for a while I would do like an hour 3-5 days a week depending on how I felt.....thinking I need to try it again soon.
