I can't speak for anyone else but I can speak for myself and yes that is how much time I spend at the gym.Ypur more then welcome to spend a day with me at the gym come down to starrett boxing club in brooklyn.I don't understand how you can compare somebody like rockin(no disrespect) to anybody else.Luis Collazo the wba welterweight champion trains at my gym in his in there longer than I am so I guess champions train for 60 mins also? 60/3 that's 20 rnds of work.A few questions for you and anybody else that works 60 mins or so in the gym do you:Jump rope, hit the heavy bag, pads, speed bag,do exercises?I don't have any space at my house nor the tools to do anything besides maybe my exercises at my house but I choose to do everything in the gym so all I have to do when I got home his run.I'm speaking from a standpoint of expierence what I wrote is my experience I can't speak for anyone else but I know how much time I spend in the gym.Comment

Yea Luis Collazo he has a interview on the mainpage he trains real hard. He's in the gym before I get there when I get there hes doing like 10-14 rnds non-stop on the pads or sparring. But he works on the bags, goes on the excercise bike also. He's a really cool dude I believe he's fighting in germany soon defending his titleComment

Here's a break down of what I have been doing since my trainer came back from florida this week(he also trains John duddy)
8-10rnds on the heavy bag
4-6 on the pads
4-6 on the speed bag
As I said before I just started so my trainer is weening me in when he's see's progress he startes me on something else or increases and sometimes decreases the amount of rnds I do one thing to devote time to anotherComment

I personally train for an hour to an hour and a half 5 days a week.
I am not competing.
If you are competing, 3 hours a day, five days a week is the way to go.
This is what I do..
3 days Aerobic/Anaerobic. Boxing Class, Krav Maga Class, Sprinting/Jogging, Bag work at home, calisthenics (fast paced).
2 Days weights, focusing on movements that use muscle groups, not individual muscles.
Pull downs, Bench press, Leg Press Seated, Military press, and Ab machines, amongst a few others.
Rest on the weekend, and enjoy life, it's too short!Comment
