Was alright...But you threw way too many arm punches. The heavy bag is an opportunity to utilise your technique to produce some power. You were throwing taps there that wouldn't get respect from any sort of fighter. The way they are scoring these amateur fights, you need to put some authority behind your punches, because they need to be clearly seen landing. I always laugh when people on this board talk about the amateurs being "powder-puff punching". It's power punching, that is all that is scoring. In fact your best bet for a scoring point is a full power straight right, a big hook or an overhand.

Once in a while during drills you can but it's better to concentrate on technique and movement, which you did.
If you watch videos of the pro's hit the heavy bag, very rarely do you see them **** on it, it's more of a cardio work out and technique than anything else.
