      And you are wrong the definition of acceleration is the rate of increasing speed, you are saying a punch is a constant speed, which would make its acceleration 0 and thus make the force 0 which is blatantly wrong
      never say that. Acceleration is the infinitesimal rate of variation of speed over time.

        BTW, here's another paper stating the same I've been saying for a bunch of post:

        Now we have 3 different papers, from 3 different researcher, stating that a punch is thrown at constant speed in modulus, and at a variating acceleration.

        But it all lies in F=ma. The speed is cosntant, but the variation of acceleration changes the strength of the punch.


        It's so basic that you can find it in almost all the kinesiology manuals.

          there is no point in posting papers that im clearly not going to read and if i did i wouldnt understand it.

          I still think your wrong but ill ask my physics teacher tomorrow

              Lifting weights is not just about the muscle gain and how it will affect your conditioning, endurance, speed, etc. It's also about how much it will take out from you and prevent you from giving 100% during your fight training.

                Instead of posting a bull**** paper just explain to me what you are trying to say, cause either we are debating about two different things or we are looking at it two different ways... because it seems like you know a lot about physics and im sure that you cant get something this simple and basic wrong

                  The old timers had the idea that lifting weights slowed you down, but I don't think it does in moderation and the increase in muscle strength and endurance makes it worth while.
