Its really amusing the flack I catch from people. It's fine with me, continue to flame away to your hearts content, but just keep in mind you have no idea what you are talking about.

In 3 rounds of sparring I got hit with 1 punch. 1 PUNCH! 0 Jabs, 0 Body Shots, 0 Left hooks, 1 deflected Right hand that Ironically hit me because my hands were up and I didn't see it (Watch at 3:26).

I was more relaxed in the ring than most of you are posting on this forum.

Most of you really miss the finer points of boxing. You are under the impression that to be a good you have to be fast as lighting and look just like Juan Manuel Marquez.

Many of you forget that the most important thing in boxing is your brain. Keeping your hands up is a waste of energy, if you already know when your opponent is going to punch, and what punch they are going to throw.

People are under the impression that they will beat me because they see some critical flaw... No, that is why you will lose. You don't realize that I want you to think I have that flaw. I want you to try and take advantage of that flaw... you are just playing into my hand.

Above all else, boxing is a game of strategy. You can have the best technique in the world, the fastest hands in the world, the most power in the world, its not enough.

You have to be smart, you have to be relaxed, you will never beat someone that can out think you.

You guys can keep working on perfecting your technique, and increasing your speed, and improving your power, endurance, strength and scariness. I will spend my time learning to control my opponents, to trick you, to make you think instead of punch, to make you think I am going to do one thing when I am really going to do something else.

Its the difference between knowing how to move a chess piece and where to move a chess piece. You can move your chess piece as fast and precise as you want, if its a crappy move, none of it matters.

My game is tricking you into making LOTS of crappy moves.
But you do spar harder than that, Yeh?

How would you handle intense pressure, A guy just constantly attacking with his gloves up, Head in your chest ... How you gonna have time to think when hes in your face 24/7 throwing shots? By the time you plodded around the ring your out for the count ..

Honestly, I pray for a fighter like that every time I step into the ring. That makes my work SO much easier.

Not only do I get to counter with my money punch, the right uppercut, but I get to really have fun with lateral movement and turning a guy.

I don't know why you are under the impression that you are going to beat me by getting on the inside and up on my chest. I love that. Honestly, nothing is more fun to me than that kind of a fight. I still do like to stand in the pocket and fight every once in a while, but I try to box intelligently more often now.

What you are failing to realize is that I AM a puncher. I have power in BOTH hands, and getting in an exchange with a PUNCHER that loves to fight off the ropes is not a good idea.

This is not the pros, the ref sees you walk into one of my counter uppercuts, its a standing 8 count, you do it 2 more times and the fight is over.

You don't have the option to take my shots and keep coming, the ref won't let you.

Shawn why the **** do you post vids then try and get people who leave you "constructive critisism" with a ****in comeback. You have something to say about everything.

Try moving round in a different direction.. You constantly move left.

And dont bother coming back with some **** like "I dont need to move a different direction because I win anyway".

          ****in hell.

Why post vids? To show how good you are? or think you are? or to get advice? if it is to get advice, ****in take it.

I watched the whole thing, some of it I liked, some of it I didn't.

I liked the parrying with the right hand, working the jab, & being relaxed.

I didn't like the sheer amount of circling at the beginning (too much). Didn't like the way you crossed your feet when circling (asking for trouble). Really didn't like how you'd do head movement & then trip over yourself getting on your bicycle. If you're going to use head movement at least close in & tag a little bit, tie up, or angle off - way too many times you'd slip a punch or two and then hop straight back.

I know you wanted to help Luke, but you didn't even stick around in the pocket long enough to let him score. Way too much retreating straight back; which made the spar look even lighter than it probably was.

Some of these habits you would sometimes not do, but it was enough to be noticeable.

I am not seeking validation, I am not asking anyone to call me amazing, I have never claimed to be gods gift to boxing, I am simply sharing some of my experience,
and hopefully helping a few people in the process.
lol... How are you helping anyone by posting this?

It shows you and your opponent totally relaxed and doing nothing. When i spar with my lil brothers (who don't box) we go way harder than this... and im just teaching them to fight in general with their hands... I hit them hard and they hit back..

again they don't box.. we do it outside on concrete..and they are only 14 and 16 now.. I guess i should be posting that... because thats basically what your doing here.. So no it doesn't help anyone.

Anyway.. I guess its nice your trying to help that guy... but that definitely won't be interesting to anyone here on boxingscene.. and if your posting it here... Your definitely trying to get someone to say nice job. If not you wouldn't post it.

lol..and I'm sure alot of people are smarter than myorga.. but guess what? He still knocked them out. 1 example fernando vargas..example 2...Vernon forrest.

                So this statement you made:
you will never beat someone that can out think you.

                Its Very false.
