    Just wondered what ya'll thought of this product. i was thinking of purchasing it but wanted a second opinion. i'm 16 and 5'6 and about 120-125 lb's. i already follow a pretty hectic training schedule but want to add a bit of weight in muscle. any pointers would be well appreciated.

          Whey Protein that isnt Concentrated make sure it is 100% and contains next to no sugars (less than 2g) and a low fat count as well.

          Im not aware of products in Britain so I couldnt put out a specific brand unless you guys carry the same as over here in the U.S. Perhaps someone can point you into a better direction for products in your country.

          But just look for the above in your protein powder.

          • hey, spinxjinx Iv read about 9 pages of this thread (dident read it all, damn its long!) i I have alot of respect for you.

            i take my protien shakes with milk alone usualy and then a bannana sometimes when available.

            due to the confusing arguing between spinks and the other guy about water and suryp and milk and stuff.
            im definitely going to substituit water for milk. but what about replacing the milk with orange juice instedad? g**** juice? low carb juice? should I keep the bannana in there? or mabey water and a bannana?

            Does everybody take 2 protien shakes a day? I onely take one before I go to bed after training and weights.

            BTW im trying to bulk up

              • hey spinks instead of me going out and buying protein shakes i heard this recipe was a good idea, tell me what you all think,
                .50g dried skimmed milk powder
                .500mls fresh milk
                .Milkshake powder
                it states that a pint of these ingrediants contains 35gms of protein and 99gms of carbohydrates. just wondring if this recipe would have the same effect on bulking me up as the typical whey protein shake available on market?

                  • Abdiel-Because he doesnt possess the power of most and he has to use his natural skill in boxing to land a punch, we know it isnt going to be powerful so he must dodge the other guys so he wont get hurt. His running is mistaken for excellent footwork to avoid heavy shots he cannot put out. Hope this helps.

                    Gazbo-You can get protein from better sources than milk, Milk is garbage in my book simple as that. When something is that packed with sugars and saturated fats it ISNT a good thing.

                    Zip-Nothing is going to make your cartilige stronger, get it broken and get used to it if you box. The pain gets less painful after the first break.

                    Rock-Bananas are one of the worst fruits you can eat, VERY STARCHY. Try some blueberries or something of that nature. Simply put Water is the best way to take your protein period, especially after a workout as it will get into your system and digest faster to build and rebuild what you broken down.

                    Mixing it with water after a workout, Mixing it with Juice or fat free milk if you must would be ok in the evening. Although get use to the water mixed in it really isnt all THAT bad.
