I have no bias, I call boxing more objectively than 90% of this forum. My 70-80% fight prediction success this year shows how I can do this without getting into biased diahorrea.

Well, Floyd IS presently overrated, but let's not go there...

When in this thread did I say Roy fought "bums"? I never use words like "bums". I'm just saying that his competition wasn't first-rate.

Both of the men you mentioned have talent in abundance... but neither are/did use that talent to its fullest in terms of competition. I don't want to come on this board when Floyd's retired and read how he was an all-time great because he beat Sharmba Mitchell.

Did I say it was Roy's fault? No I did not. I also didn't say that it was Roy's fault he never - correct me if I'm wrong - fought a top five contender the entire time he was at SuperMiddle. There's lots of different reasons why things do and don't happen, but to suggest they don't matter because they were beyond the fighter's control is pointless.

I'll give you an example. Big Len has detractors for lots of reasons, but one of the main ones is that he never fought a prime Tyson. Now, I'd have Big Len a lower top ten heavy and all that, and it's not Big Len's fault they didn't fight when Tyson was, if not in his prime, then less shot. But it doesn't matter a **** who's fault it was when it comes to accessing the record, does it?

Roy fought and beat every champ available, what else was he to do, Cat jumped to heavy and whooped ass and people still don't respect him. Their will never be another fighter like rjj. I'm not saying he is the best ever, but def an all time great.

It was more like a push! Anyway Jones fought a Toney that was overweight that was having trouble making weight, Toney was also having some personal problems during the Jones fight.

The Toney that fought Jones, would've lost to many other decent fighters that night.

The Hopkins fight was much closer and Hopkins was a nobody at that time, he was a green fighter, with very little amateur background.
