yes he was he without a doubt fought 10x better competition than Jones. Thing with Jones is that he made it look to easy.

        I agree with you.

Again, generic, bland, meaningless, with a lot of perjorative speculation and abuse in the place of mature discussion of points raised. Nothing for me to respond to there.

Is Roy unfairly demeaned for late-career losses? Yes. Obviously.

Is Roy one of the greatest ever? Yes. Only over-analyzation leads to different conclusions. People try to overthink things and come up with cute little reasons that don't stand up to logic as to why Roy is not an all-time great.

Anyone who dominates a division for 7-8 years, no matter how bad the divison is, is an all-time great. These things don't just happen to 'good' fighters.

            Thank you, you're all dismissed.

That's "dominate" without having fought The Man in the division, right? Being a 7-8 year champ without ever becoming The Man.

I love the way that concluding that Roy had talent to burn but never - or rarely - tested that talent in the ring is "over-analysing". I know you love the taste of Roy's nob, S_L, but I still have the pm you sent me telling me what you REALLY think of his career.

I resent that, there's a huge difference between being a fan of the sport and a participant.

Good ****, thanks Sup. I'm not trying do disrespect anyone, I just tired of this **** talking all this **** about fighters being bums, roy this roy that, and he dosen't know **** about the sport. As far as fighters being bums, get in there.. then tell me their bums, bums don't sacrifice all, knowing nothing is garanteed in return.

If you are referring to DM, Mr. Deutsch who loved the comfy confines on his Mutterland, then I don't have much respect for that. Clearly by putting the onus on Roy for the fight not happening is a sign of bias. Clear these things from your head before you come to the table to discuss this issue.

How many times have we been over the DM fight with Roy haters????
It just gets sad and pathetic after a while.
