Thurthfully saying if castillo won the fight it wouldnt be exciting.

Castillo fans should thank Corrales for making the fight exciting

A guy was down twice as well as point deduction when the fight was pretty close. after that it was for sure castillo fight but corrales heart made it through.

The first mouthpiece he took it off because the guy got knockdown and he wanted to think, it sliped away from his gloves.

But Castillo wieght in twice in castillo fight is really bad. He is a prof not some kinda amueter boxer. They have doctors, trainer...etc to keep him in shape and those guy aint workin for free. He is just luck that Corrales accepted the second fight but doing the same mistake twice is far from bad for a prof. even Amatuer boxing dont do this mistake

I guess the rules should be changed than, so they should give the fighter that gets knocked down an option of contining right away or getting some seconds to get their head straight at the cost of a point.... I don't even know why people think Corrales comeback win was so great..????? Even when I saw Corrales spit his mouth piece out, I knew something was up. That win would have been truly great if Corrales did that without that bull**** move. Get it in your guy's ****en heads already....IT WAS A CONTROVERSIAL WIN!, and so was Castillo's. Castillo's win was also controversial and the same thing about both fights was that in those two fights, the rule-breaker won,but you know what guy's, paybacks a *****. The people that think Corrales made a smart move in order to win the fight should do the same for Castillo's win and say something like "Castillo made a smart move by coming into the second fight alot stronger and bigger, and paying for it by making the fight a non title fight(same way Corrales paid for it with a point), but the outcome having Castillo knockout Corrales in the fourth round ."........... You guy's need to get over it already and realize that they are even.
No, maybe they were even until the third fight...or lack there of, when Castillo failed to make weight AGAIN.

        Crafty v.s. Cheating

Corrales spitting out the mouth piece was no more cheating than Angelo Dundee ripping Ali's glove open to buy him some time or a dazed fighter fighting for the clinch.

There are borderline fouls that take place within the parameters of the game, like those mentioned above, which can be considered crafty and more a testament to the guile and intelligence of a fighter and then there are others where the objective is to blatantly cheat to get the upper hand right from the start (i.e. Castillo's scam at the scales)

if that is cheating, then every guy who has ever landed a low blow and won a fight should have the decision reversed. (that includes Castillo just about every fight by the way)

Neither cheated in my Opinion. Corrales risked points for the mouth piece and Corrales took the second fight knowng Castillo was OW and he got fined for it. Fair deal.

                Its very simple here.

Even if everyone concedes that Corrales spit out his mouth piece on purpose it was at the very worst in the heat of battle. Goosen and Corrales didn't have spitting the mouth piece as part of there game plan I'm sure. (Corrales claims that he was attempting to put it in his glove but it slipped, video hints to this also)

However what Castillo did by coming in as a jrWW is premeditated cheating. Not to mention that he attempted to cheat by putting a foot under the scale to lighten it

WTF, how can anyone compare these two and think that they are comparable? Is the the twilight zone or some ****?

No matter what, Corrales took the fight and his promoter even made a bet with Castillo that he wouldn't win. He knew the risk and he took it.

That's like me being in race and you giving me a .5 mile advantage. If you take it and you loose I still win fair and square. It's not my fault you taught you that much faster and decided to take the race.

BTW Corrales outweighed Castillo on fight night.

The difference between the "cheating" Corrales did was it was within the confines of the rules. An infration occured & a point was deducted. JLC on the other hand had a doctor use his foot to alter his weight; knowingly or unknowingly & that's cheating.
