the real cheater is the guy who can't make weight then has his ****ing DOCTOR try use his foot to lighten his weight on the scales. THATS ****ING CHEATING!

then to not make weight again and complain that corrales wont take the fight is absurd!

corrales is a stand up guy inside and outside of the sport of boxing, he doesn't go down that road of cheating, there ought to be more fighters with corrales'integrity.........

thats what im sayin. if it was any boxer with less excitement, jose would win the fight.

That's a good contention but if it's really cheating then if should have been an automtic disqualification from the fight.

Since it only calls for point deductions I would view that as still playing within the rules.

hey, that's a private matter. i do not advocate or tolerate any kind of domestic violence, but you have to realize, a ***** will make a guy do the most craziest of things. plus who hasn't got into a fight with their girlfriend or wife and thought about knocking her head off, or even better her provoking you or him into a fight. they do that **** all the time. plus in almost any state on this country they always take the side of the female regardless if see started anything or not. and with that being said they usually always take the guy to jail, or both.

and what a guy can't make a mistake in life, it's not like he is a repeat offender in that matter, that's the only dirt you can bring up, something that he has paid his debt on. cheap shot and the only shot you got.

bitches make you crazy, like i said i don't advocate any of that mess, but i understand that a ***** can make you lose you mind!

I really don't think it was cheating in the sense of the word because he didn't try to get around the penalty. In sports, sometimes it is worth breaking a rule and then get penalized. Just because it is against the rules doesn't mean he cheated...if he kept trying to make it look like it was an accident then maybe. (I saw the fight a while ago so I dont really remember the details) I'm pretty sure, in soccer they call it a professional penalty, where it would be better for you (or your team) for you to trip him and take a yellow card then it would be to risk not tripping him. Corrales spit out his mouthpiece and got a point taken off...thats whats supposed to happen.

Huh? That's another story dude. Trying to cheat on the weighing scale doesn't sum up to a point deduction. It's results to "no fight" at all.

But since Diego agreed to fight him despite the weight disparity, then Diego can't ***** that he's been cheated.

Actually Diego is not bitching about it, it was the fans.

If spitting out your mouth piece in order to get some time to recover isn't cheating and looked at as a "great stragedy move", than every fighter that has been knocked out should have all done the same thing Corrales did in order to get time to recover knowing they would only lose one ****en losy point(what fighter wouldn't give a **** about losing one point in order to get some time to get their head straight if they were on the verge of getting knocked the **** out..???) I guess the rules should be changed than, so they should give the fighter that gets knocked down an option of contining right away or getting some seconds to get their head straight at the cost of a point.... I don't even know why people think Corrales comeback win was so great..????? Even when I saw Corrales spit his mouth piece out, I knew something was up. That win would have been truly great if Corrales did that without that bull**** move. Get it in your guy's ****en heads already....IT WAS A CONTROVERSIAL WIN!, and so was Castillo's. Castillo's win was also controversial and the same thing about both fights was that in those two fights, the rule-breaker won,but you know what guy's, paybacks a *****. The people that think Corrales made a smart move in order to win the fight should do the same for Castillo's win and say something like "Castillo made a smart move by coming into the second fight alot stronger and bigger, and paying for it by making the fight a non title fight(same way Corrales paid for it with a point), but the outcome having Castillo knockout Corrales in the fourth round ."........... You guy's need to get over it already and realize that they are even.

Not making the weight isn't cheating, it's voiding an agreement or contract. Kind of like breaking a promise.

Knowingly breaking a rule in order to gain an advantage is cheating. That is the definition and that is exactly what Chico did.

I like Chico; I think he's one of the best fighters below 147 right now; but, I still think that what he did was cheating.

If a fighter is about to go down and intentionally holds on to the ropes, he is cheating. If a fighter intentionally hits another below the belt, he is cheating. If a fighter spits out his mouthpiece to gain more time to recover, he is cheating.

                      It's pretty simple, really.
