Robinson was a welterweight knocking out middleweights while Hagler was a middleweight knocking out welterweights....there is a subtle difference.

Wait...Hagler only knocked out Hearns of the three, he eeked by Duran and lost to Leonard.

        Based on wat?

I agree he was very strong and brilliantly conditioned. But how do u know he wasnt as strong as La Motta or Monzon?

U have to base ur opinions on somthing.

Yea Hagler only knocked welterweights out!

Like I said anyone that believes that Robinson would've knocked Hagler out, then I recommend they should stop watching boxing forever.

Again do some research on Hagler's training.

Bud I've been watching it since before you were born...I ain't stoppin' now.

'sides, I never said Robinson would knock out Hagler...I said he could; and that the odds would be more in his favour than Hagler's in that regard.

I don't think so, and thats not a discredit to Robinson's power but a testament to Hagler's chin. IMO, Hagler has a top 10 all time chin. The guys that Robinson beat the living **** out of late in his middleweight career were guys like Fullmer and Basilio, punching bags with little power that he could pound with impunity. Hagler, with his crushing power in both hands, would not be as ready a target.

Contrary to what people are getting excited over, this fight would be a steady, tactical bout with some nice moves shown. Robinson and Hagler were nice punchers, but were boxers first. I think Robinson would win, but you never know. Hagler is an all time great as well and Robinson was inconsistent at 160. In the old days, they woulda fight 4-5 times. Too bad they weren't around in the same era.

U made the statement that Hagler was the physically strongest middleweight ever.

No matter how great his training was, there are no test results to prove he was stronger than anyone.

I agree, he was strong. But to say he was stronger than another middleweight champion from another era....u have no proof and are saying things based on ur opinion without being able to back it up.

Boxing isnt weightlifting. It isnt a measure of strength. And there is no evidence to prove such a remark.
