I think Hagler's defence was better than La Motta.
If a war broke out, then i think Robinson could stun Hagler. Maybe even hurt him for a very breif moment.

I believe Hagler was hurt against Hearns, and some say stunned by Mugabi.
And Robinson being an incredible puncher (not just power, but speed and skill), he could throw so many different KO punches at anytime during the fight.

Robinson did not hit hard like Hearns or Mugabi did.

Hearns is P4P one of hardest punchers of all time, he landed his best shots on hagler and Broke his hand, guess what a few seconds later Hagler was attacking Hearns.

No offense, I think it's pretty ******ed for anyone to think Robinson would've stopped Hagler.

            I didnt say he would.
But i dont think its ******ed. In boxing u never know. Especially wen 2 great fighters meet up.

I just think Robinson's KO record and the amount of very tough opponents he beat meant he had a chance of hurting Hagler.

I think it is ******ed for anyone to think Robinson will KO Hagler!
Hagler had a way better KO ratio then Robinson and he fought the Better fighters.

Your talking about Hagler who in 67 career fights was not in trouble once, Robinson punches would've not done nothing to Hagler.

U think Hagler fought the better opposition?
                Im not sure.

                W 173 (108 ko's) | L 19 | D 6 | Total 200
Gene Fullmer, Carmen Basilio, Carl'Bobo'Olson, Rocky Graziano, Jake LaMotta, Kid Gavilan, Henry Armstrong. He fought some of them many times.

I just think wen ur talking about arguably the best middleweight ever versus arguably the greatest fighter of all time, u cant be so certain that the impossible may happen.

Plus, Haglers early fights werent fimed. Who is to say he wasnt hurt during his early career?

Yes! No ifs and buts about it! Just Leonard and Duran are better then any of those guys.

Robinson may have been the greatest boxer, but he was not the greatest puncher, so I'm 100% certain that Robinson will never stop Hagler!

I think it would make an intersting poll. Who fought better boxers.

But Hagler lost against Leonard who came out of retirement, and Duran was never a good middleweight.

Personally, im never 100% about anyfight. History has taught me not to be so sure.
