If I remember correctly, it was the other way around.Originally posted by El Temiblebut tyson ducked him during the 90's and if he hadnt have beaten him thats what he would be remembered for
tyson doesnt have half the ability, record, class lennox lewis did
lewis would have beaten up and stopped a prime tyson
I think you are treading into dangerous waters with that one.Comment

After Audley lost to Danny Williams, the fact that he won a gold medal was null and void.Originally posted by TheEvilSainti agree with that. i mean, audley harrison won a gold medal, whoop dee doo, look where hes at right now.
It definitly help make some bigger, more televised fightes, and also translates into more money.Comment

I really don't think that anyone is questioning Lewis as a great fighter and the best Heavyweight of his era. However, not many people, including me, see him among the likes of Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Louis, Marciano, Liston, and maybe a couple more. Lewis was a very good fighter, but doesn't belong with those other names. As I said in the other Lewis thread, he would have been a notch below Ali, Frazier, and Foreman in their era. That, IMO, is the difference between them being great and Lewis being very good.Originally posted by El Temibleharrison never beat someoene as good as him for it
bowe was a class amateurComment
