but would you say honestly those fights were ones that made him looked at as a all time great that he is

    or is it his record

i mean it was a shot louis and if i remember he was being outboxed vs walcott before pulling it out with a sensational punch

yes, i would say those fights put him on the map, but his fights with louis, walcott, la starza, charles, and moore are what made him great.

regardless of how shot louis was, he was still the champion in the peoples eyes, and when rocky knocked him out, thats when people learned who rocky marciano was.

no offense, but ur wrong again, respectfully. his fight with tyson was undoubtedly his career-defining fight. once again, regardless of how past his prime tyson was, that was the fight that solidified lewis as a... (hate to say it) great fighter.

but tyson ducked him during the 90's and if he hadnt have beaten him thats what he would be remembered for

tyson doesnt have half the ability, record, class lennox lewis did

lewis would have beaten up and stopped a prime tyson

That't my piont exactly, every true boxing fan know tysonwas well past his prime so, how can LL ride into greatness off of that fight ? If lonnox lost that fight, would he be remambered as a great fighter, or for that fact remembered at all ?

But yeah he wasn't great at all
That means nothing in professional boxing.

But yes, Lennox was a great champion.
He was an excellent fighter, too.
But I dont think he is on the level of the Top Heavyweights of all time.
