If Hatton stays at 140 and starts fighting abit more regularly again to get some sharpness back, he can take anybody at that weight.

The Hatton that fought Tackie, Stewart or Oliveira I'd pick over anybody other than Mayweather. But I believe he can beat Mayweather using other methods.

      Ha,hahahahahahahahaahahahahahhahahaa...

      You people are so FOOLISH.

What you haven't realised is that Hatton is not even a human at all. Hatton is in fact, one of the crab people. He's out to box his way to a Floyd Mayweather bout then reveal his true identity in round 2. He will snip Mayweather's arms off and kill everyone in the stadium..

      You heard it here first.

Now, if you're talking about the 140-pound division, I'd have to say that he is the best figther in that division (assuming Cotto move up and Castillo isn't considered in the rankings). If Cotto and Castillo are considered, it's a toss up between these three fighters, and it's based on opinion, but he's def. top 3. But, I think the skills at 140 lie with Witter. He's a better boxer than anyone else at 140 right now. Cotto is a close second at skills.

Ricky is a pressure fighter. It doesn't take much skill to be all up in someone's grill.
Hatton has shown in the amateurs and in the gym that he has as much 'finesse' as anybody. He also showed his pure boxing ability against Tackie.

As for being a pressure fighter, yes he is a pressure fighter but an educated one at that. He works off opponents leads and threads punches through small gaps - he's a counter-punching pressure fighter who is very cute on the inside. He also has brilliant footwork, and his timing at times is frightening.

I dont like it when peep say Jeff Lacy got exposed against Zaghe, but how Hatton is still OK when clearly Zaghe(dominant champ for nine yers)is onanother level to a Collazo ?? i Deffo sensed the 'exposed express' when Hatton fought Collazo

"cute counter puncher" and Hatton should not be in the same sentence. Hatton is just a brawler

Hatton was exposed in that trying to put on seven lbs of muscle in six weeks slows you down extremely - yes, he was exposed in that sense.

He out-boxed Pendleton, Magee, Tackie and Oliveira. And in his early pro fights he was clearly BOXING, no pure 'brawler' has the kind of amateur career that Hatton had. Sure, Hatton has looked like a brawler in his last three fights but for good reason - he knew he needed to smother Tszyu and not allow him to fully extend his right elbow (or else!), he thought that Maussa couldn't fight backing up, and against Collazo he was carrying far too much unnecessary weight and so had little flexibility to do much else other than just walk straight in and be sloppy and awful (compared to his usual self).
