"I know Kostya's up for it, too, and I wouldn't expect anything else from him. But he's had nine rounds of competitive boxing in four years and has been out injured for maybe a total of two years."

If I am going to stop him, it will be later on. If he stops me, it will be early. He hasn't been in the trenches in five years, though. Let's see what he's got left." -Ricky Hatton

Again what good fighter, not ok fighter, has Hatton fought that wasn't 35years old or older?

As for Collazo v Hatton,Hatton got whooped, got hurt badly in d 12th,n did NUTIN 2 take the title off d champ. .he had real problems thats why hes movin back down 2 light welterweight, but if i remember Hatton said he felt MUCH stronger and faster at welterweight before the fight, after he got rocked n outboxed he said he had troubles makin d weight. .

      Two points.

1: Maussa opened up the cuts on Hatton by using his head (literally).

2: You don't know how to score fights, do you?

How can you criticise Hatton, really?

He was the most exciting fighter since Nigel Benn, chose to takes risks and throw body shots rather than out-box everybody - because first and foremost he wanted to give fans their money's worth. You can say he hasn't got the best resume in the world, which he hasn't, but Warren always got the highest ranked opponent available and everybody got rich from him fighting at the MEN - respect that! Lol. And it's not like Hatton wasn't depressed about the opposition - he was, as he always stated time and again. At the end of the day, he worked his way into the IBF mandatory spot and beat the #1 lb4lb fighter in the world (according to Bert Sugar, Freddie Roach and others) and best 140lber of all-time fair and square. He's never lost, his last couple of fights have been against very difficult customers in very difficult circumstances but he's Still Undefeated and IMO can beat anybody at 140lbs.

I can criticize because guys like you say he can defeat anyone at 140lbs. I can criticize because of Hatton's hypocrsy in claiming to go to 147lbs to chase PBF but then refuse, delay for a few fights or price himself out of fighting the very guy he is supposedly chasing.

Again you haven't answered my question what good fighter has hatton fought that wasn't 35years old or older. Tzu is a solid win against a great champ who was no longer great but still good. Even Ricky degraded Tzu's fighting ability before there fight....

castillo is probably bigger than fatton & becos fatton does'nt have the skill 2 use a defence i see castillo havin no real problem puttin the fraud on his ass & takin him out. pbf/fatton ? biggest 'top level' mistmatch of all times, hes made for pbf & it will be ******ly easy for pbf 2 embrarass him

The Ramsey brothers (Mark and Paul) had fought at the senior world amateur championships, Mark Winters was a quality boxer, Pedro Teran was no mug, Lauri had amateur pedigree, Pep gave Mayweather a good workout, Pendleton saw it as his last chance saloon, Krivolapov was ranked #2 by the WBC and #3 by the WBO, Magee was ranked #2 by the WBA, Phillips was dangerous, Tackie was dangerous (the next two after Tackie were replacements for Pinto, Mitchell and Harris), Stewart was an eliminator and Oliveira a warm-up.

At just 25 years old Hatton was ranked #1 by the WBO and IBF, #2 by the WBA and #3 by the WBC - in the best division in boxing.
