Case in point......Hatton wanted to fight Gatti if Gatti beat Baldomir. Gatti a C-level fighter was stopped. Does Hatton go for another WW champ, top contender or even give Collazo a rematch?.....nope he see's WW is to talented and goes back down the talent depleted jrWW division where he can find another C-level fighter to replace Gatti.
Hatton wanted to fight Gatti because it's always been his dream fight. What don't you understand? Ricky Hatton is in boxing to entertain fans and be involved in barn-burners.

vs hatton, takaloo, thaxton, urkal he is a very slow lumbering average fighter who would never touch a top 15 light-welter lits

      geoff hayes please talk sense

Hatton was probably 149 at the time he heard the news he would have had a comfortable camp, he said he felt better than normal wtf u makin excuses for

I have my respect towards Hatton for beating Tszyu, but I got no respect for how he beat him.

He wanted to fight Gatti for the massive exposure, the same reason Floyd fought him. Gatti really put Floyd on the map, as a serious draw in the sport.

The difference is Hatton never bad-mouthed him and called him a C-level fighter with a paper title like Floyd did, and then when Floyd won that title, then it wasn't paper anymore and he started calling himself a 4 weight champ or whatever (paper titlist= champion? Nope)... weird how that happened, huh? hehe.

werent that funny, fact hatton still wanted to fight him after the mayweather beating is amazing

hatton is doing what his fans fail to accept he is goin back to fighting poor fighters (urango) for a paper belt again (collazo)

I have. Stylistically, Hatton was made for Tszyu. But he still ****ing got the win.

Warren didn't want the Tszyu fight, but Hatton MADE HIM make it (and then went and won it).. you win any way you can, and that was the way to beat Tszyu - to not allow him time and space to unleash that long right hand.

Where are the bigger fights and bigger paydays, answer WW. He wins a belt at WW, then vacates belt because he can not hang in a talented division, not because he is so much smaller than everyone else. I can't wait till Castillo gives Hatton the business.

Hatton won't lose to anybody at 140. I'd bet a lot of money on that, if I had a lot of money spare. (He can make 140 without any trouble at all, thats his division dude).

I believe he has the ability to beat Mayweather, the most skilled fighter that ever lived, with the right tactics.
