However, if Team Fury was smart then they would just try to settle this case outside the use of an adjudicator; In order to avoid costly legal fees, a prolonged legal battle and a delay in his boxing career.Comment

Its already begun. These are the excuses starting to build. I never really understood how anyone thought Fury was just going to waltz into another fight with arbitration hanging over his head. If you've paid any attention to showBUSINESS in the last 50 years, contract disputes have destroyed careers. You have to be a complete dumbass (or just a simpleton who believes anything that comes out of the mouth of Fury or Hearn) to think this wouldn't be the case.
As much I respect Fury's talent, its always amused me just how easily he manipulates the ******ed British population pretty much at will. Said he was fighting three months ago, a guy who seems to have no problem having junkyard fights to get in a few rounds. The lockdown would be a perfect way to remove ring rust fighting some unranked bums and keeping himself busy. And yet you're still thinking his court case (and lack of British boxing license) isn't going to be a big problem? Jesus Christ.
You've been trying to look for excuses why it won't happen, but it will.
The court case doesn't prevent Fury from fighting, and if it were to somehow, the fight still goes ahead without the belt (not an undisputed championship, but still the biggest fight in years).
I don't know why you Yanks don't believe this fight can be made, it's happening.
Wilder said he wanted to unify the belts and then avoided anybody ranked under 100, AJ just went out and collected the belts. If you really want something you get it done, it's only when you pretend to want something that small issues are turned into excuses.
Both fighters want this fight, both managers want this fight, both teams want this fight, all commissions want this fight, all the media want this fight, all boxing fans want this fight and you believe that Wilder can stop all this with an expired contract clause?Comment

Fury and many in the boxing community believe that the third fight will be a walk in the park for Fury, so why is the legal issue still lingering? Fury could have made the trilogy happen in December last year instead of staying idle for such a long period of time. Meanwhile AJ has taken care of his mando.
I am not a lawyer but I believe that Wilder has a strong case here, there were valid circumstances for the previous postponements and Fury cannot unilaterally declare a signed contract invalid or say that it's expired. Curiously Fury hasn't defended a belt in his career after he won it, just saying.
If Fury doesn't want the fight, for whatever reason, he should compensate Wilder handsomely and concentrate fully on the undisputed fight with AJ.Comment

Fury should sue Wilder for all the BS he's been spreading.
Just think, with all that "evidence" from a "doctor" during his "autopsy"and the urine tests from before and after the fight that must undoubtedly show his water was spiked you'd have thought Wilder would have taken team Fury to court by now, and the WBC for fixing Fury's gloves as they were responsible for their security.
Wilders words and actions seldom match each other so I understand how you get confused by the man.Comment

Or ignore the pr1ck and watch him self destruct even more than he has.

Wilder himself admitted that the date had lapsed and said he'd applied for a rematch before the expiry date but it remained on a desk and was not forwarded in time.
How is that a strong case?Comment
