Imo, Wilder also needs to rebuild before fighting somebody like Andy. But that would mean him being honest with himself and accepting that he lost to the better man in Fury, and that he needs time to recover and work on his basic skills before stepping up to anywhere near that kind of level again. From what I heard about him demanding $10million to fight Charles Martin, and the way he's been talking in his interviews, Deontay isn't willing to do that.
That train left the station a long time ago! Like Mark Breland said, he's in love with that right hand, and that's all he thinks he needs! "You can't teach an old dog, new tricks!" So in that case, I say he should fight Ruiz ASAP! Do or Die! He'll still get paid handsomely, because that fight will sell over here! Plus, if he wins, he's instantly back in the mix!

That's probably true, but his head seems to be in a complete mess. If I was handling him I'd want him to forget about big fights and multi-million $ purses for now, take a low key, low pressure fight against a journeyman level opponent and see how it works out.

Arbitration isn't important, there is no way in hell Wilder has a claim for the rematch clause.

If he did have a claim, he wouldn't have tried to enforce it as it means he has to fight Fury again.

It's just a show for his fans, he is pretending to want the fight to save face. He did the same thing with AJ, so it isn't the first time.

Nobody wants Wilder Fury 3, most of all Wilder. If he did he wouldn't have waited for his contract to end before saying anything.

Yeah that makes sense. Which explains why Wilder forced Fury to have mediation talks, and now arbitration, to contractually bind Fury to a third fight. Shows that Wilder wants nothing to do with Fury...
