Before Dillian Whyte signed to fight Povetkin, Ruiz turned down $5million to fight Dillian, saying he needed time to rebuild before taking another big fight.

Imo, Wilder also needs to rebuild before fighting somebody like Andy. But that would mean him being honest with himself and accepting that he lost to the better man in Fury, and that he needs time to recover and work on his basic skills before stepping up to anywhere near that kind of level again. From what I heard about him demanding $10million to fight Charles Martin, and the way he's been talking in his interviews, Deontay isn't willing to do that.

That's probably true, but his head seems to be in a complete mess. If I was handling him I'd want him to forget about big fights and multi-million $ purses for now, take a low key, low pressure fight against a journeyman level opponent and see how it works out.
