Didn't think about that... if so, what a plot twist.

I never fully understood how/why the rematch clause seemed to have expired and is no longer enforceable by Wilder. Covid came along and messed everything up. That alone should offer the option to extend
    deadlines to schedule the fight.

This is one of the most intriguing fights in the last 30+ years. So I think it's normal to talk about it.

But rather talking too much, try to finalize it.

Arum used reverse psychology... Actually he wanted Eddie to continue talking about Fury vs. AJ.... More talk is good for the fight...

Hearn just can’t help himself. Desperate for attention.
In his defence he gets asked about it by the media so responds.

Was listening to Costello and Bunce podcast this week and was shocked at how many tenuous links they used to shoehorn it into discussions!

Eddie Hearn is like the Floyd Mayweather of boxing promoters. Floyd grew up in his dad's gym, Eddie grew up in his dad's business. Talking to fighters, fans and journalists isn't work to Eddie, it's just life. And of course, the internet and social media is part of that life.

Bob is in his late 80's and ****** rich. To him, social media is an annoying intrusion on his privacy, and talking about boxing = work. Eddie is forcing Bob to work harder than an old, fat, rich man like him wants to work!

Covid wouldn't have prevented the fight from happening, it just meant accepting a massive cut in the live gate money. Because of that, and because of an injury to Wilder, the deadline was extended 3 times - from June, to October, to December.

It maybe would have been extended again, with the agreement of both sides, if Fury didn't have the option to fight AJ instead.

Wilder's team also had the option to accept a pay cut and insist that the fight happened before the latest deadline expired. They had the legal right to do that, but they chose not to do it.

What is he even talking about in that post? That is the most nonsensical ranting I have ever seen. It literally looks like someone in psychosis off their medication.

What are you ranting on about? The story is on Bob & Eddie yet that somehow translates in your brain to rant about Wilder?
                    Why so angry?
Funny how that year 19 20 on the forbes rich list Fury earned 57 mill, Aj 47 mill & Wilder 46.5 mill & you act like Wilders broke xD

This is why Bob's cash cows like Crawford don't sell. Because Bob doesn't sell relentlessly like Eddie does.
