    Obviously, the Wilder arbitration case is preventing Fury-Joshua, and there's nothing Hearn or Arum can do about it. Which is why Arum told Hearn to chill out and wait...

    And as far as the gloves are concerned, it's a known issue with the Everlast MX gloves Fury used. If Wilder was ever allowed to use them, they'd be banned forever. Even with that unfair advantage, Wilder was still throwing punches when Breland threw in the towel. I believe the third fight, if it happens, will be an absolute massacre and Fury is acting as if he knows it. Which is why he is doing everything he can to avoid getting in that ring with Wilder.
    The fight is 100% going ahead so that point is void. Arum always tells Hearn what to, it has nothing to do with Wilder.

    Wilder was dead on his feet when the towel came in, he had no clue where he was or what was happening.

    Nobody in the sport believes the glove crap. It is tin-foil-hat territory and you can't argue with conspiracy theorists because the truth doesn't matter to them.

    You've chosen an alternative reality to live in and you have every right to do so, but don't start throwing alternative reality problems into the real world because they make no sense and don't belong there.

      Wilder threw the last punch in the fight, the horsehair gloves are known to be manipulative and the arbitration case is preventing Fury from avoiding the Wilder rematch he agreed to.

      Until the case is decided, nothing is going ahead.

        No case to answer, there was a set clause for the rematch, it was extended because of Covid and then Wilder didn't bother to call it in and it expired.

        Wilder was acting strangely at the time. He announced that he had surgery and hadn't trained a single day since the fight. A couple of days later (when Fury said he was moving on), Wilder announced that he was in top shape and has been training hard for months.

        I can't believe you think Wilder was still in that fight, the ref was going to stop it right then when the towel came in.

        He had been thrown about like a ragdoll, hit the ground half a dozen times (including slips) and used by Fury as a mop. He was done, finished, out on his feet and probably saved from severe brain damage (although it seems that it may have come a little too late for that).

        Gloves = BS

          There is an arbitration case happening right now. It can take up to 6 months. That's the reality of the situation.

          The reason why mediation happened is because Fury wanted out of the rematch clause. He failed to get out of it and refused to agree to honor it.

          So now we've moved to arbitration. Fury can't do anything until the judge decides what his options are and whether Wilder is entitled to Fury's purse if Fury reneges on his legal obligation.

              So it should be a walk in the park for Fury right? So why is he spending so much time and money to AVOID fighting an easy fight?

              Because it's not easy and he could get seriously hurt. Better to play games for the entire year, lose money to lawyers, give up his purse, maybe even retire again than face Wilder again.

              Because Wilder has the highest knockout percentage of any heavyweight in boxing history, and has successfully defended his title 10 times, matching Muhammad Ali.

              It's the reason why fighters are afraid to fight him. Especially, if he's been done wrong. And Fury has a history of not playing fair. Just ask Wladimir Klitschko...
