You know what, I'm sick and tired of you haters saying he chose the weakest verion to fight. He called Oscar and Mosely out years before the fight happened. The Floyd interview below is after the Bruseles fight. Mosely had a tooth problem. Mosely is so shook in the bottom video he's licking his loose tooth, what a b1tch! Arum didn't want to make the Oscar fight because he said it wouldn't make money, google it.

He chased Pacq for years, look at the dates.

Over the past two years, there's been a lot of uncertainty amongst fans and media alike regarding the events surrounding the negotiations for the mega-fight between pound-for-pound champions Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. In an effort to clear up the confusion, FightHype.com has put together an in-depth timeline detailing every major milestone that took place. From the moment that Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to the minute that Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum declared the fight to be off, all of the major events that dominated the headlines are included. Only the facts are included in this definitive timeline. Links to mulitple outside references have been included for each date, so fans can draw their own conclusions as to what went wrong at each step of the way.

Just look at HIS record and look at he OPPONENTS, like say Lew Tendler, who alone would chew up our friend to ribbons. Take Barney Ross, look at HIS record, there are a dozen opponents that would mangle our friend to shreds many whom he beat were HOF champions before and after. And they are only two of many dozens of champs. The guys I meant are some you never heard of. Ted "Kid"Lewis, a ferocious welterweight champ, who fought up to heavyweight whilst still only a welter, never any more.

{Even fought Georges Carpentier for light-heavy title}. who had hundreds of fights, a 20 fight series with welterweight Champ Jack Britton alone, Load of his opponents would destroy our friend. These guys founght REALLY to put food on the table and were as ferocious as bull terriers. In the 1920s and 30s there were about 10 times as many fighters in New York as now in the whole United States. There were about 70 boxing shows every weekend and many during the week. That's where HOFamers came from.

So whilst it would be a big job to do exactly as you ask, you can see that the material is there. just look at the Emile Griffith period, Sugar Ray Robinson period combined. Guys on their records. There are dozens. Luis Rodriguez, Benvenuti, Locche, Sabdro Mazzinghi, Papp could make 154 easily, Carlos Ortiz, Duilio Loi, and many more. I'm certain that our friend would beat very few of these guys, and likely would have 20-30 career ending fights.

The all had a determnation to never lose, although they occasionally did, but only to circumstances, or a fighter better on that day, or, eventually wear and age. but all could switch up 2-3 more levels during any fight. I don't think any of todays fighter could succeed with them except perhaps Manny P. at his best,, and then not always.

Just my opinion, and not containing Bias. I dislike out friend exceedingly, but only his personality, not his boxing skolls, although they don't interest me.

      Again, just my opinion.
Why I asked is I find it a stretch to find over 100 guys that would beat Mayweather at LW, that is is his best weight not 154, its like comparing Duran to 154-160 guys where he doesnt compare to the great 154-60 weight class guys even though he did well with some of them its was nowhere near his best weight.

When we are talking great fighters head to head its really only fair to compare them at their best weights .

I believe Floyd could hold his own with any 130-135 fighter in history, could possibly beat them all or not its really pie in the sky material.

When we talk about greatness it encompanses many areas but ring ability is the over riding factor.

Ray Robinson regarded by many as the GOAT yet 90% of his resume is cans , he beat only a handful of elite for the time fighters which is how it is throughout history for any fighter, you cannot fight great competition on a monthly basis.

I believe the likes of Leonard Hagler would go through Rays resume just the same, which is why I dont like the concept of GOAT as the reality in the difference between true greats is fractions of a second and it also varies with who is in the zone on the night, its a fans argument about who he likes more than anything else which is why I dont like to go deep into this one.

This is a concept created by haters and knockers that has no merit when you actually get into the details, they like to say it off the cuff but they cannot prove any of it, where on the flip side its easy to prove that Manny took easier fights and cherry picked with stacked advantages against top guys more than Floyd ever did , which is why no Manny fan will debate me comparing their resumes fight for fight exploring all the details about the fights beyond face value.

I used to feel the same way about Floyd choosing to fight certain fighters on his terms, but then I looked at the situation. Floyd could call his shots, on his terms, he was the man.

He retired with how many hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank. You can complain about who he fought and when he fought them. Floyd will just be counting his money.

The end goal in boxing is to retire with enough money to support yourself. Floyd did just that many, many times over.

And I sign my name with lots of 'dots' because I can. LMAO at the embicile complaining about how I finish my posts, he's more like the Room. Waaa!

No one owns the oxygen and there is plenty to go around but Floyd did fight a guy who had zero boxing matches for his historic 50th wins as if other fighters had not gotten past 50 wins without a loss and had faced tougher opponents.

I see a lot of people putting Floyd in the top 25 range but can’t name 10 people with a straight face that should be above him lol.
