Plant is a step up to Fielding, yes. But Plant is a huge step down with the others. Plant fights nothing but the usual garbage Americans love to fight. When they step up, it's curtains for them.

Plant is weaker. But Smith and Saunders? Weaker than the nobody Andrade who hasn't even been in the ring with anyone world class? Smith Jr? Charlo? Is this some kind of joke?

If Callum was given a proper training camp and allowed to prepare properly, he'd slap Smith Jr, Charlo and Andrade a new identity. Saunders outclasses them for shlts and giggles. They are hype with no substance, like nearly every American out there who do nothing but fight garbage and talk about what they'd do with world level fighters, but running away when they offer them fights.

I like Benavidez as a fighter, but boxing must not be his main priority. He lost his title for coke, and then again for missing weight. He needs to look in the mirror and admit he is to blame for missing out on a huge payday. It may not come again.

Benevidez is to blame for missing weight and snorting Charlie, but being honest, do you think Caleb would have fought him without those situations arising? Because i don't. It's just convenient he has excuses to why the fight isn't happening. Just look at the trash he fights. It's actually embarrassing. Caleb has been all talk towards Benevidez. It's all talk with anyone world level.

Smith, Plant, Canelo and a multitude of fighters were always in the gym last year through out the pandemic keeping in shape and keeping busy. There's a ton of pictures on social media of these guys training through out last year, and the Canelo vs Plant, vs Smith were fights that promoters were trying to put together all of last year. But when it comes to signing a contract, everyone wants to say these guys had Short notice. Give me a break, these dudes were already training, already knew Canelo was looking for an opponent, it's not short notice, that's the excuse fighters and some fans want to use, and if it was so called " Short notice" for Plant and Smith, if that's the excuse you want to use, it's also short notice for Canelo as well, it's a two way street, not one way. I'll believe Plant when he signs the contract for September if Canelo gets passed his next two fights.

There's a massive difference to ticking over and having a legitimate training camp for a big fight. We all know how Canelo goes about picking his opposition. He knew all along it was Callum and trained for months while keeping him in the dark. Callum even said it was a shock to find out he'd been picked and didn't think he'd get the fight. But that was 4 weeks out.

Canelo could cut someone's legs off at this point and you'd still defend this coward. It's constant now so ignorance is not a defence where that joke is concerned. He's a cheat and a fraud. I'm done with him now. He's done it far too many times for it not to be pathetic at this point.

I´m begginning to hate this coward. Hope Canelo fights GGG and not this clown. Plant knows Benavidez would beat him. Matter of fact, even Canelo doesn´t want to fight Benavidez. If Benavidez wouldn´t had lost his title on the scale, Plant would still have an excuse not to fight him.
