He took risk but he added provisions to benefit him like weight drain Canelo to 152 when both held the title at 154 refused to fight Madaina with gloves comfortable to Chino but instead tossed him pillow gloves or no pay day. Fought Corrales at 130 rather than 135 knowing Diego was dying to make 130 . Fought Mosley and De La Hoya when they were shells of their former self. Fought Pacquio after he was putto sleep by Marquez yet had Pacquaio take steroids test while he used and used IV Flush to clean his dirty test . Agreed to a catch weight fight against Marquez but failed to make the weight because he didn’t want to be weakened like Canelo was because he’s fully aware being weight drained can hamper your performance. Now someone prove me wrong cause every thing written is fact

Diego Corrales was a decent risk at the time. Canelo was a decent risk. Judah was a decent risk before he lost to baldomir and they made the fight anyways.

Floyd only gets blow jobs with a condom on, he said this himself. He's paranoid about everything, he doesn't take risks, except in ******** I guess, but nothing that can affect his health.

You aren't handicapping someone in their early 20's with a couple lb.

Sorry just no. Canelo was young enough he could have boiled down to 140 if he needed to.

The weight had no effect on Canelo, he was just completely out skilled. No amount of extra weight would have changed anything about that fight.

I am not a floyd fan either. I think his career was a joke, and a waste of talent.

We never got to see him in there against a legitimate challenger in their prime.

He ducked Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao, Tszyu, and many others when they were legitimately dangerous to him.

Pacquiao is the most egregious example. Pacquiao's ability to remain relevant at a weight much higher above his natural weight than WW was for Floyd, and to beat more relevant WW's than Floyd in the form of Thurman, does show that Mayweather was a special fighter, but since we can all acknowledge that Pacquiao is far from where he was at his peak, its sad that Floyd waited him out for so long.

Age has nothing to do with dropping water weight lmfao hell has nothing to do with dropping weight period.

Everyone has a wall where it starts to do damage that a rehydration wont be able to repair in 24 hours. Its the reason Mayweather had to get a TUE to rehydrate, its the reason Mayweather paid millions to come in overweight vs Marquez. Every OUNCE MATTERS, If it didnt Mayweather wouldnt even bother catchweighting Canelo.

Never took any risks. Ducked prime opposition and didn't want to go up in weight to fight Martinez or GGG. Those would've been risks.
