I think I'd prefer to see Wilder vs Ruiz than Wilder vs Whyte, but it sounds like neither are on the cards anyway.

Wilder already looked down on Whyte and basically talked him out of the HW title conversation.
At that time, Wilder was on top of the world....he doesn't strike me a guy who can come down from the mountain top and take on Whyte or anybody on that "Deez Nutz" app he so jokingly spoke of.
Wilder's pride won't allow him to accept anything from Eddie and it's a damn shame at this point.Comment

I can't disagree with that but I think the opposite is also true. If Whyte lands an overhand right on Wilder, he's probably done as well. I, for one, would love to see it. There's so much animosity between those two it would no doubt make for a great buildup and explosive fight as long as it lasts.Comment

Hell no. Only desperate Wilder fanatics want that fight. Everybody else wants Joshua/Fury. Wilder had plenty of time to exercise his rematch clause and only piped up when Fury planned to move on. Fuc_k Wilder. He needs to beat at least one or two contenders to get that fight again.Comment

Can't see this happening but it would be a great fight, they hate each other.
The reason Wilder isn't rated by the other side of the fence is that he hasn't beaten anyone on the other side of the fence. In this fight Wilder can beat a Matchroom fighter and vice versa for Whyte. If Whyte beats Wilder even the LDBC will have to give him some credit.
Wilder once said they only want me to fight Whyte so they can compare me and he's right but what's wrong with that. That's the basis of competition.
All Wilder did since getting the belt was fighting in house fighters in the States till he lost. Look at how many PBC fighters Joshua has on his record and Fury beat Wilder.Comment

Wilder is far less relevant than he was and Dillian Whyte has never been relevant. It’s not a big or interesting fight tbh.Comment
