not prime, but not green at all
How "green" was Canelo when he fought Floyd Mayweather?

Lol. You’re still citing the same article from 2011. Two years to 2013 you think a boxer is going to agree to a weight stipulation gone obsolete? This aint about Charlo, this is about you being corrected and you trying to put your failed excuse on someone who this convo has nothing to do with. Facts were proven, your opinion was debunked.
and then theres this...
"It's not going to affect me at all. You know, the last couple of fights, I made weight not a problem, so it's not going to affect me at all. I'll be fine," stated undefeated jr. middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who spoke to the media at the New York press conference to promote his upcoming September 14 clash with undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather
It’s my pleasure to keep exposing you. It’s typical for Canelo haters to just consolidate any bit of information and fumble it out of context when the facts can be searched in chronological order.
Now go make me a sandwich you dummy! ;Comment

He was plenty experienced by that point but perhaps a little inexperienced with such big events. Not his prime but not that far off.
If that fight had occurred a little later, nothing would have changed. It's a bad style matchup for Canelo. No one as calculated and deliberate as him has troubled Mayweather. You gotta bring the fight to him.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 01-07-2021, 02:10 AM.Comment

No. The conversation between me and El Mero is about 150 quotes regarding 150 in 2011. Not about the 152 fight in 2013.
You know the game. Does a boxer honoring a catchweight headline last for 2 years? Cmon that doesn’t exist nor does it make sense.. lol
That’s why I had explained Charlos quotes of him going back down to 154 when Canelo became Franchise. We know Charlo was taking the piss, and even if he super drained to make a 154 fight in 2019, we know NOW, today, there’s no way in hell could fight effectively at 154. That’s why Canelo haters like to fumble chronological facts or they’re just ******...Comment

Ah ok I thought you ment the 152 CW trouble with butting in on guys going at it lol.No. The conversation between me and El Mero is about 150 quotes regarding 150 in 2011. Not about the 152 fight in 2013.

Either way Canelo at one point said he do a CW to fight Floyd when the time come it was put to him and he signed, if there was never a mention of a CW it probably would never have been and would go at 154 .Comment

Sure. But the point is Ellerbe exploited Canelo quotes from 2011 for negotiations in 2013. What was Canelo going to do and argue with Oscar back then? Team Canelo would’ve been under pressure from Oscar and Bhop and Canelo just played the part. Canelo said for years regarding the fight, that he would never be pressured into that position again, because he was played and he had to own up to the demands. It all makes sense, and Canelo learned a lot about the business and true A side power. A side power not even so much with Floyd, but his bosses like Oscar whom were A side matchmakers and controlled his destiny.Ah ok I thought you ment the 152 CW trouble with butting in on guys going at it lol.

Lots of politics in boxing that we dont like its just part of the game.Sure. But the point is Ellerbe exploited Canelo quotes from 2011 for negotiations in 2013. I didnt like Floyd enforcing the CW i dont think he needed it and would have done the same thing without it, he was just being the consummate pro and took advantage of them saying CW, they should have held out on it I doubt Floyd would have walked it still would have been made.Comment
