Prime Shane and Prime DLH wouldnt give Floyd the time of day.

Prime Floyd beats prime Mosley easy (with OSDT) and Floyd and DLH are 50/50. At 154 DLH at 147 or lower Floyd

Mosley jumped up two weight classes to challenge a KO machine in DLH. Goes on to challenge Forrest, who had his number in the amateurs. Fights him twice. Guy then challenges Winky Wright, who the boxing universe unanimously agreed was way too big. Challenges him a second time. All this happened while he was trying to line up fights with Trinidad and Hopkins.
To suggest he ducked Mayweather is laughable.

Canelo wasn't green. He was a veteran fighter in his prime when he lost to Floyd. This wasn't like Loma fighting Lopez. The only thing that's changed is Canelo hasn't fought anyone half as talented Floyd since he got dominated and embarrassed by him.

Also Floyd haters have changed the meaning of the term "prime" so much over the years it's nearly lost all meaning. First it was number of fights, then it was age, the it became about world title experience, then it was about accumulated damage. It's always some new bull**** excuses.

He was extremely green, nowhere near his prime, plus he was weight drained. He had no amateur experience.

I mean the same people that claimed that Gervonta wasn't ready for Loma are over here claiming Canelo was this proven veteran.

Even still, it's not like that fight ruined Canelo like Tito/Vargas, he got better from it. It was nothing more than a multi-million dollar sparring session. Have them fight now, and Canelo bodybags him.
