Haha I just lol , I search for how many registered boxers in the UK and it was Boxer dogs lol dam idiot I am lol. I know the Aussie one is pretty much right they rarely ever over 500. But point is the numbers have got to have big impact on how many top guys come out of any country.

This statistic shows the number of Boxer dogs registered in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2011 to 2023.

Amir after his first loss relocated to the States to work with Roach and spar with Manny.

Manny went to another level when he hired Roach

GGG wouldn't be the fighter he was if he hadn't worked with Abel Sanchez, same for Kovalev who hired American trainers, they both relocated too

Recently Fury dropped his young English trainer Davison in favour of Steward's nephew SugarHill.

So yeah there's a precedent for foreign fighters improving and becoming great by training and moving Stateside under the influence of American trainers.
Why did Steward want to work with Lewis in the first place?

The reason Lewis left Corea was due to him being a joke trainer and nothing more than a moth piece.

Are you saying Canada has a greater capability to produce great fighters than the UK? Haha.

Naz had his greatest success with Ingle. Naz didn't have Steward as his main trainer. Oscar Suarez was his main trainer. Steward would just come in as the number 2 for a couple of weeks before the fight. Oscar was the one in camp for the duration, not Steward. They took an unconventional fighter and went against the grain to make him more conventional, thus resulting in a worse fighter. Both Oscar and Manny were clueless about Naz and his style and failed him. So what you're saying is beyond laughable.

It was Roach who told Amir to throw the lead right uppercut from range and step inside with it against a fighter with a counter left hook that would be thrown whenever Amir made any kind of movement. With Amir's right hand all the way down and not in a position to block any counter left hook, Amir was vulnerable to being knocked down heavily at the very least which would allow Garcia to finish off a badly hurt Amir Khan. At no point was the uppercut landing a payoff shot that brings an end to proceedings, it in fact was a weaker punch than the straight right hands Amir was smacking Garcia about with and having success with. Thus, this information Roach gave was not only amateur, it was downright criminal in it's grotesque and dangerous teachings. It was the reason Khan lost. Roach also took years before he taught Pac how do anything but launch the left hand straight and nothing more. Roach is a joke. You only have to listen to him in the corner of any fighter he's with. It's beyond laughable the nonsense he comes out with. No instructions of any merit, just simple and pointless words that even a child who didn't even know about boxing would say.

Sanchez has a reputation of failing the fighters he's with as being far too one dimensional. Look at how little success he has. Any trainer could teach Golovkin to come forward. That is basic stuff and not the work of some king of genius. Haha. Golovkin had plenty of success as a pro and amateur before Sanchez got involved.

Kovalev left Russia and moved to the states because he felt shunned by the Russian system. Of course he was going to get an American couch. He wasn't going to bring a Russian one with him was he when he left on his own? But the American couch was one that would stab him in the back and give information to a rival opponent to give them a greater chance to succeed. Are you saying this is a positive in any way by being a f3cking snake?

Fury has beaten every opponent with British trainers. He even beat Wilder the first time at only 50% with one. And it was Fury who planned to come forward against Wilder in the rematch, not Hill.

Sorry, but this entire post was tragic as i've been able to clearly point out.

All they have is size and not much else. They could stand to lose a few pounds too

Out of the Big 3 Fury would cause the most problems. Wilder's power is legit and AJ is a good all rounder, can box and punch. But I'd still favour Ali, Frazier and Foreman
Ali would walk through all those guys? Ali couldn't even walk through Jones, Cooper, Shavers, Frazier Norton x3 and Young.

Frazier got beat up by the most talentless known caveman the Heavyweight division has ever seen in Bonavena. Bonavena was nothing but a bum of the most hilarious kind. Frazier also had an even fight with a bum in Bugner where his eye was closed. Outside of Ali, who did Frazier actually beat of any worth?

Both Fury and AJ bounce those 3 off the canvas in utter mismatches. Only delusion of the worst kind could think any different.

You also don't know much about the era's of Heavyweight history if you think this one and the Klitschko one are the weakest. But Americans do continue to push that angle. So you don't even know your own history and how pathetically weak and shallow so many era's were.

****, no your point was solid I just thought you had a resource I did not.

like x4s the boxers according to boxrec. That's probably good enough.

Why would Americans do that though if they never really fight over here the way Brits do over there and therefore more likely to get themselves an American trainer?

When Chambers was over here and getting fights, he was working with the Fury's. But as i say, it's rare. They don't travel anywhere. And if they do, they do so for a fight or two and don't make campaigns like Brits and other fighters do over there by fighting regularly.

However, does this dispute what i wrote? It doesn't i'm afraid.

The reason Steward wanted to work with Lewis was due to the fact he thought he was the best Heavyweight he'd ever seen and thought he had huge potential. Which of course, was true.

                      Great post.

Plus look at the more recent talent coming out of Montreal. Jean Pascal. Adonis Stevenson and David Lemieux who have all been world champions.

Also look at the foreign talent that go to live and train out of Montreal when turning pro. Lucien Bute, Artur Beterbiev, and Eleider Alvarez to name a few. Don't sleep on Canada.
