At the very top end boxing has become one of the more popular in recent years but that has to go down to Eddie Hearn for a huge credit in that. In particular the way he turned round characters like Carl froch who were barely known into a ppv star; turned Joshua from zero to one of the two biggest stars in boxing, etc.

It may well flow through in future years - who knows, there is usually a lag affect of 10-15 years with this sort of thing but we’ll see.
    Credit to Eddie Hearn.
Interesting that you mention the Lag affect.
I have one foot in the Pros and one in the Amateurs. One of the theories I've had is that with the whole virus thing we're going to have a gap (Lag) in good young prospects in a few years.
In the U.S there have been No Amateur tournaments this year which is keeping the teens from competing and training properly. Plus some young guys who would wait for the Olympics (2024) are chosing to go Pro early.

I'm not even ****ing with you, just curious.

Joe Calzaghe though? Like no English claim him. I've spoken about it before and how ****ing weird it is pretty much everyone else in a similar situation gets double credits. Joe, born in England, is always called Welsh. I don't know of anyone else like that.

Lennox, born in England, gets called Canadian

Fitzs, Born in England, gets called an Aussie

You know, in addition to being English. Joe though, he's just Welsh. I don't argue, I just think it's kinda weird.

Lewis also has 0 universal title defenses.

          Fury has 0

          Joshua has 0

          Fitzsimmons has 0

          Haye has 0

          Bruno has 0

          Burns as 13
Bruno picked up the WBC title and has wins over McCall, Coetzee and Ferguson. Chavalo was nothing but a punchbag bum. Lay off that crack.

Lewis is British. He went to Canada when he was 12. Forget who he won an Olympic medal for.

They have no universal title defences????????? As i say, stop smoking crack. Go to Deontay Wilder's Instagram and tell him you see an ATG in the making like you said on here and leave the boxing talk to the adults.

          And stay off that crack.
