Lennox Lewis picked up boxing in Canada and as a pro was exclusively trained by American trainers. Only represented UK as a pro due to it being better for business.
Tyson Fury trains with the Kronk.
Anthony Joshua lost in his American debut against a fat Mexican.
So the talent is there in the UK but the training isn't on par to what you get in North America.Comment

Tbf these were decent fighters fighting pound for pound fighters.
Kell used to be better than decent.
Callum's best night was against a Groves passed his best. He still had and has more to proves as to how good he is. Obviously nowhere near elite.
I've never been that high on him. Jab just isnt there for him.
Josh Taylor is by far and away Britains best below the big boys which to give us our due. That's ours, lol
Could he beat the big dogs 147? I doubt it. But if he cleans house at 140 that would be something.Last edited by Sparked_26; 12-20-2020, 02:13 AM.Comment

Kinda unfair because America is So Big! Texas alone is bigger than the UK
This is not Americans Better than Brits garbage I'm certainly not saying that, BUT I do think the Training is different, you getting better sparring in America it is all type of styles in these American Boxing Gyms and GIFTED Young Fighters who just haven't had their big break yet that can give you quality Sparring consistentlyComment

There's a lot of middle aged to elderly trainers in the UK who's days have passed them by, guys like Ingle, people talk about the "ingle" style because it's unorthodox but that's been figured out, guys like Joe Gallagher or Jim mcdonnell or the tibbs were never any good. Robert Mcracken is just an a, b, c type guy
I think Shane Mcuigan is good and that young guy who trained fury for a minute has a good boxing brain but lacks experience.
I do agree with OP though that overall the quality of training is lacking compared to the top minds overseasComment
