Canelo does not have the better footwork or jab. Hagler was clearly better in both of those areas. That's how I know you don't know anything about Hagler or this topic.

Its possible and a competitive fight, past greats might be larger than life in memory but they not in the boxing, the very top guys of this era give any fighter in history their weight competitive fights. I dont see this any different, be a battle thats for sure, Hagler being Sth Paw and his boxing ability was real tight, I think Hagler gets a UD win, I think it be a technical match.

Are you serious first of all nellie couldn’t go 15 rounds .In competitive fights he slows way down with his punch out put in 12 round fights.Hagler was far more than a brawler and Nellie would have zero chance of hurting haggler.This ginger ball soup sure is intoxicating.

canelo would lose badly to hagler. hagler extremely solid chin, complete boxer (can brawl, can box, can switch hit etc), very good power, very solid jab, very good 15 round stamina, good on his feet. Etc. canelo has never fought anyone as good or as strong as hagler. hagler has fought bigger punchers, faster fighters, more skilled fighters (duran at 160 is much better than canelo).

canelo struggled against southpaws (trout and lara), struggled and lost twice against an old ggg, struggled against an old shot kovalev, struggled and had a competitive fight against danny jacobs, had a competitive fight against an older small war torn cotto. none of these fighters even come close to hagler. get a grip u unintelligent punks.
