    Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I love Leonard but Floyd is as complete of a boxer as you can get.

Floyd should be embarrassed that he needed two fights to beat such a slow, flat footed, short armed fighter like Madonna.

        depends on the "dirty" action.

low blows are not a skill, rabbit punches aren't a skill, head butts aren't.

But cutting off the ring and cleverly using your arms to put a guy into the position you want, without the ref warning you, that's a skill undoubtedly.

So how is Maidana cutting the ring off and fighting inside dirty? Because manny struggles with both? Lol

Cutting the ring off is huge for aggressive styles. They need it to catch defensive fighters

          I see djdipsh1at can’t score fights either

Aren’t you embarrassed that you can’t score fights after watching boxing for so long

Sugar Ray would have dispatched of somebody as crude as Madonna in 6 rounds or less. It took Floyd 2 fights to just say he got a ud.

You can't even stick to your own thread topic man.

Leonard was an in and out stick and move type fighter. A lot more on his toes and would fight from the outside. A great jab bothered Leonard, which led to him having the bad eye and retiring at 25. And as great as Duran was he was still a lightweight moving up to fight a welterweight and he beat Leonard. That would never happen to Floyd.
How would you know? Duran is as great a fighter as Floyd is minus the indiscipline so don’t spew this garbage that Duran can never beat Floyd. Floyd will have to fight hands of stone cos he doesn't have the power to keep him off. I ll giveFloyd the slight edge cos I know what am getting but the one that beat SRL in the first I believe beats Floyd

Didn’t he also beat Hagler? I would say Hagler was the best he ever beat not Duran.

That wasn’t prime Manny sadly. We haven’t seen prime Manny for some time, it’s mad how he still beats most of the top boxers around. Shows how good he was.

Prime for prime think Floyd would still have won, his ring IQ and skill set are something else. Would have been a much closer fight though and who knows Manny may have blitzed to victory.

I always think Floyd had the benefit of fighting people at the right time.

Leonard fought them at their peak- aside for Hagler who he waited till the time was right...

In answer to op- Leanord IMO.

So in what world does the guy who barely beat shopworn name fighters by decision have more skill than the guy who is beating prime all time great fighters by stoppage. Please somebody explain this phenomenon.

                      Two different fighters.

Plus you act like Floyd was 23 when he fought Maidana. He was old.

Yet when you say Sugar Ray, you mean him in his prime, not when he was shot and taking Ls. Either one; Leonard or Robinson.

Maidana against Floyd @140, against the one who trashed Gatti, would have beat Maidana down.
