Well that's what happens when you are fighting a past prime guy who had already been sparked out.

More skilled was your question? To that am thinking about all your boxing attributes, in that vein, I ll say Floyd is the more skilled fighter but as far as who the better fighter was, I ll give the slight nod to SRL. Now am doing this at WW. Floyd is way too defensive at WW for my liking and let’s be real he was a bit more selective at the weight. Having said that if you ask me who wins between both, you will have to give me three fights to decide it and I ll give Ray the deciding fight just because he is more offensive, just as fast and will press the action a bit more to the judges liking.

Sugar Ray Leonard had a greater offense, his movement was also? On par and probably better than Mayweather's.

Floyd Mayweather's defense on the inside, was the only department where he was greater than Sugar Ray Leonard.

I think Floyd was more skilled. Floyd was a complete fighter and he could stand in front of you and slip punches. That wasn’t Leonard’s style.

Leonard was an in and out stick and move type fighter. A lot more on his toes and would fight from the outside. A great jab bothered Leonard, which led to him having the bad eye and retiring at 25. And as great as Duran was he was still a lightweight moving up to fight a welterweight and he beat Leonard. That would never happen to Floyd.

So how do you explain so many lists that put Duran ahead of Floyd at 135, Srl ahead of Floyd at 147, and both of those guys consistently in top ten all time great lists with Floyd barely hitting top 30.

Duran was a full-fledged welterweight when he fought Srl. He didn't make the leap in one fight unlike Marquez, who in one fight went up two weight classes to fight Floyd at a catchweight of 144 pounds, and Floyd still welched on the scales, and nobody in their right mind would confuse Marquez with Duran.

Money May was the more skilled of two; While Sugar Ray Leonard was the more naturally talented and with more boxing ability of the two. Don't get mad. I am only being real.

Offensively Ray. Defensively Mayweather. Ring generalship: roughly equal. Overall: Ray by slim margin
