Wrong! His nick name was not money yet. It is what it is he didn’t go for it. Some fighters want to earned all the belts to show they are the best no exceptions.

Sorry bro, you can’t make up your rules, in order to be the undisputed champ, you must have all the belts!

mayweather was part of the tszyu sweepstakes i believe, so were alot of other names.

floyd was with hbo at the time, so realistically the only names tszyu could have fought were hatton, vivian harris and corrales since they could fight on shotime.
I don’t think Floyd’s people didn’t want that fight , I believe Tszyu beat his uncle Roger.... Tszyu was a bad Dude!

[QUOTE=w1cked;20939025]floyd chose to move to 147 after the gatti fight, wbo champ cotto and ibf champ hatton didn't really call him out at the time

Guys a fighter doesn’t have to call you out in order for you to fight him, if there’s another guy in your weight division who has a belt as well you fight him. You don’t need someone to call you out that’s nonsense.

[QUOTE=IronDanHamza;20939547]Margarito was the WBO Champion, correct.
But Carlos Baldomir was THE Champion. Baldomir was ranked #1 in 2006 as he was the Champion.

Don’t matter Although I don’t like MargoCheato he was much better than Baldimir

Floyd made it very clear that at 140 he wants Kosta Tszyu. That’s the fight he wanted.

There were even talks of the fight between the networks back then, HBO and Showtime. But a deal wasn’t to be made.

Once those talks died he moved on to Gatti who was the next highest ranked fighter at 140.

Don’t matter he never fought Margarito... it is what it is, he didn’t want no part of him... it’s history now. Floyd retired when the division was hotter than the Welterwgt division that we have now. We had Margarito, Mosley, Cotto,Paul Williams & Floyd. And out of no where, he retires...
