Funny how you keep baby'ing him, Tyson was just a "kid" too when he becamse the youngest HW champ. It's a hard sport, either you have it or you don't..and it's clear that this guy doesn't have it..he's not 15 he's 20+...he showed that he should not be in the ring with anyone half decent.

A fighter does not know how serious his injury is till after the fight, this had nothing to do with the injury, just by looking at his eyes you could see he did not want to be in there anymore. People need to stop sugar coating it and say it like it is. A true champion does not think about "smart moves" he fights till the end. This is why boxing went to sh***...you people are making excuses for quitters now days. Look at the old school fights, they'd rather die than quit. I know it's easier said than done but once you choose to be a boxer you know your life is on the line every time you enter that ring. Now if he keeps fighting you'll see him fight more European bums which will make him look good like they have done so far, that's the sh** you people enjoy watching.

I'm a fan of Deontay Wilder's "Til the Death" mentality.

I wanted to see Dubois fire a big barrage of body shots and maybe some uppercuts in the final 2 rounds. But he chose to bail out... not saying that I like it, but I know why he did it. He was thinking: better to have 20 more paid fights than have doctors suspend my boxing license.

If this is an orbital bone fracture, then Symptoms can include:
              • blurry, decreased or double vision
              • black and blue bruising around the eyes
              • swelling of the forehead or cheek
              • swollen skin under the eye
              • numbness in the injured side of the face
              • blood in the white part of the eye
              • difficulty moving the eye to look left, right, up or down
              • flattened cheek
              • intense cheek pain when opening the mouth
              • bulging or sunken eyeballs

Even if optical nerve damage, nothing supersedes safety first. You want to save your career over a single fight. Dubois did the right thing.

It depends how bad the eye is.

If it's just swelling then that was a soft move.

If it's bad then it was a smart move.

Another work mate had massive feet. So I asked him: you've got big feet what are they size 14?

Just small talk, that could hopefully lead to me giving him an offensive nickname.

But then the boring c.unt chipped in: 'My feet are size 9.'

                  1. Nobody asked you
                  2. Size 9 is literally the average size for uk male.

But there were thousands of instances like this. I sat next to him. Every day I had visions of just launching my computer monitor at him just to see how he'd react.

It is only now that I am in my 30's that I f.uckin love him. I wish he was my actual mate now.

I suspect this is right , Dubois is a tough kid . He fought with blurred vision for at least 3 rounds . I’m glad Joyce won but he would have lost under normal circumstances. The score cards was also an indication they weren’t letting Joyce win without a stoppage.

Daniel was terrible last night, he had zero head movement for the whole fight, and zero ideas of how to get past a jab. This is what happens when you fight all bums with nothing coming back, then thrown in against an Olympic medalist. I actually thought Daniel would of fought better but his flaws were completely shown last night, fair play to Joyce.

The fight itself was completely boring though.

Its very similar to the Yarde situation Warren should take the blame really, feeds his boxers bums and then throws them in. Its a weird way to promote your fighters imo. The only boxer to come through this process is Fury when he was thrown in against Wlad.

Daniel needs to go back to the drawing board and learn his fundamentals before stepping up again. Go work with Fury, learn how to move around the ring better. Though in not sure Daniel will ever be champ material, I think the IQ just isnt there.
