Daniel Dubois quit. He should retire.

Dubois’ eye closed and the fight was close. So he took a knee after a jab and let himself get counted out.

I’ve never seen someone quit in such pathetic fashion before.

His eye was closed but it’s not an excuse when so many fighters carry on like that

If his corner had pulled him out, fair enough, but he chose to go out like that.

Once you do that once, you will do it again when things get tough.

Very alarming, showed mental weakness. Fight got too tough for him, after having everything easy thus far. Didn't know how to handle it. In between rounds, the last 2 rounds, could hear Dubois in his corner saying "I can't see!" His corner should have pulled him out, he was looking for a way out two rounds ago. Before that final round he was very urgent repeating he couldn't see and corner sent him out anyway.

I don't know about retiring man, he's only 23 and even now in his interview, he's showing he is ten times the man Wilder is.

            No excuses from Dubois

Dubois quit, but so did the unified HW champion of the world in the fight before last.

DDD was talking some smack about his will to win and other things, but he bottles it............. he was disheartened from his punches doing nothing to Joyce, and tired, and his nose bust, and the ey closing...... when he took that shot on his eye it was the straw that broke DDD's back.

I don't like to call a fighter a quitter but what else can you do?

Showed mental weakness for sure. Look at Inoue, Nonito broke his face early but he didn't quit.
