Disappointing way to quit. I'm not complaining about him quitting, but he should have done it on his stool.

He's young, he'll learn and come back.

Let's not judge somebody in a loss, let's encourage fighters to take risks.

even in the early rounds during the breaks, he was struggling in pain and shaking in his corner as they worked on his eye. Don't think he has the toughness it takes to be successful in the fight game.

Horrible to see a fighter quit in that way. Shouldn't have been in there today and clearly needed more experience.

Those Hematomas are no joke, Angulo just turned his back against Lara and he's as tough as they come.

DDD will be back, he's young.

If he's got a fractures eye then you can let him off.

If it's 'only' a swelling then he will get criticism.

At the very least he should've got up before the 10 count and tried his best to get Joyce out of there.

I think there's a difference between quitting because it's tough, and quitting because you can't see the ramrod of a jab slamming into your injured eye.

Might be the smart move in the long term. Another three rounds of that could have ended his career.

                      OK
As with Anthony Yarde, Frank Warren has fed a potentially very good fighter with poor opponents and the first time they’ve met a quality fighter they’re not ready!

Frank Warren ought to be ashamed of himself
