Callum Smith is unprofessional if he needs to get in shape including cutting alot of weight. Training camp shouldn't be a fat camp. Greats like Hopkins, Mayweather, and Pac realized this. This complaint isn't surprising though coming from a guy who lost his belt twice from drug abuse and overeating.

Not unprofessional at all, he’s always in the gym. But for a guy with his physical dimensions, making weight can be a long process. It takes longer than 4 weeks to prepare for a fight.

Leonard fought the best fighters and young prime fighters in his division like Hearns and Benitez. Also killers like Duran and Hagler.

Delahoya fought Trinidad then moved up and fought Hopkins. Fought young unbeaten Mayweather.

Mayweather fought Corrales who was unbeaten and in his prime. Then moved up and fought the top guy at 135 without hesitation. In fact Mayweather fought fighters that looked good in their previous fights like Shane Mosley and Pacquiao.

Canelo's name doesn't belong on that list at all. He moves up only to fight the weakest and most vunerable of the belt holders and has never taken on an elite young unbeaten prime fighter unless they look bad like Smith did. That's his MO and there is no way around it.
