Canelo was negotiating to face BJS, was offered 20M plus upside and turned it down. Then he started negotiating with Smith. So the idea that Smith knew this was coming months ago or even weeks ago is false. Is Smith in the US yet? Normally British fighters travel over more than 3 weeks before a fight so leaving that until now could affect him
