Did you have the same opinion when Mike McCallum upset and stopped Julian Jackson in '86 despite Jackson proceeding to knockout 16 of his next 17 immediately after?
WTF are talking about? John Ryder came into that fight with 4 Loses, 1 of them from Rocky Fielding who Callum beat...Come On Just STOP! Again people turning this into someone discrediting Canelo by questioning how good Callum is and that is not the Case for me at least. Ryder BULLIED him on the inside, had him against the Ropes and struggled keeping Ryder from getting on the inside

As for Body Snatcher vs The Hawk...please don't EVER insulate those Legend just to try and justify Callum struggling with Ryder Both was Undefeated and at the top of their game when they fought so No Clue why you even brought that up

I make the Fury comparison because although Wilder was actually throwing when the ref jumped in, I didn't disagree with the stoppage.
Yet Tony Weeks saw fit to allow Badou Jack vs. Marcus Browne to go the full 12 and came out looking like this:

Ok so Tony Weeks is fine letting a MF'er almost bleed to death because it's a championship fight and the fans deserve to see a winner, but Robert Byrd was so worried about Horn getting knocked over by that wind from those whiffed punches that we just had to stop it.

      Ok

so yeah, Callum don't impress me, I hope he proves me wrong and make it a great fight but stylistically he does absolutely NOTHING that gives Canelo Problems!
It’s all about canelo bro what’s you mean you didn’t know? Is callum not the lineal champ at 68? Number one p4p going against number one at 68!3)16 more do you want? Some people are just never satisfied

          Ok...and?

Darnell Boone didn't have a flawless record when he beat Adonis Stevenson or roughed up Ward and Kov, if I do recall.

And the world clearly remembers Burton's roughhousing of Floyd.

Sometimes you just have rugged fighters regardless of record. It happens. John Ryder is just tough.

Porter has loses, yet he's taken everyone he's fought to the limit and has never been in true danger.

We have to STOP using losses as a measuring stick when otherwise the fighter is durable and has never been dominated.

I definitely wouldn't announce that Crawford is #1P4P after beating a guy who has lost three of his last six fights by KO and is now considering hanging up his gloves. For those who consider Canelo the #1 P4P, look at his resume a little closer. The irony is some of the same people who now consider the wins over Golovkin a good argument for crowning Canelo #1 P4P, were likely calling GGG a Hype job before.

You're Reaching now! I don't give a sh^t about a fighter losing BUT who you lose to and the the way you lose does somewhat Matter. Now I will say Ryder does look like a Much better fighter now compared to when he lost to Rocky Feilding

Tony Weeks also watched Ward smash Kovalev in the balls repeatedly. Byrd could have waited for the finish but Horn didn't have anything for Crawford that night imho so we'll have to agree to disagree.

For YOU maybe but for Me I've posted multiple times that I'm OK with this fight especially during this Pandemic and also somewhat on short Notice for both fighters. My issue is when people then try to HYPE UP Callum as like some ELITE FIGHTER. Callum is a Good fighter but he does nothing that troubles Canelo. He doesn't fight using his height and reach, he doesn't fight well on the inside I just see Canelo breaking him down to the Body and possibly making it look easy because Canelo is just Levels Above

Well yeah it is/was 3 Other Champions in the Division, it is OF THE OPINION (Not Facts) that he MIGHT BE the Best but no he haven't proven that just yet vs the Rest

Just like I THINK Bivol is the Best at 175 but he haven't fought or beaten Beterbiev yet so I can't definitively say that without seeing that fight first
