Mmm really i guess everyone was 2012-17 was fooled by ggg n sanchez then promoters snd fighters included. GGG lost to sergey but as for canelo even stevie wonder knows that a 1-1 series ggg won first and canelo barely the 2nd.and i like both canelo n ggg. Ggg beat jacobs as well. Hmm your really a hater forreal Ggg only consenses loss is to sergey .seeing what ggg looks like next vs andrade charlo or muginia (cnt spell) is gonna tell if the sergey fight was cause ggg was sick or old . im thinking a mixture of both though sergey is like the 160 versian of 147 ugas no1 wants to fight em cause he brings none to table but gonna put up a serious fight and u might walk away with a loss or exposed.( charlo aint beating canelo get that fight out yall minds) sure sergey lost and is southpaw but after that i dont like charlo vs someone excellent and sergey and getting no more major fights cause even in loss he makes the champ look very avg . dazn since aint got canelo no more gotta get ggg in there with charlo and or andrade if cant make the canelo trilogy. Ggg should fight this no name guy then charlo cause thats 50/50 at this point in career then cash out trilogy canelo or call out jorge masdival or your fellow former soviet khabib for a crossover fight cash out either way plan retain belt build legacy/ solidify it 2nd fight vs winnable champ like charlo then cash out vs canelo or crossover cause face it ggg aging canelo in prime n everyone knows it the 3rd fight after round 6 aint gonna be close and debatable like the first 2 fights. Yet a crossover vs masdival or khabib big check and easily winnable UNDER BOXING RULES
How did Golovkin and Sanchez fool so many people?

And who actually stepped up when he said 154 - 168? Nobody.
Ward didn't step up. HBO offered him the fight and said something about his shoulder. He was also busy suing his manager. Then he started campaigning in the higher division feasting on bums.
You clowns keep perpetuating this nonsense.

Wow 2017, big difference. What a genius you are to be able to go on Boxrec and copy all that crap.1. He fought GGG in 2017 and 2018.
2. He was the reigning WBC, Ring, and Lineal middleweight champion when he fought GGG in 2017. He moved back down to 154 to win another belt but he was already well established at 160.
3. His fight immediately prior to GGG was a catchweight at 164 against Chavez.
In 2016 he threw away his WBC title to wait out the aging GGG a little more.
One trip to BoxRec could've saved you the embarrassment.
My point is it takes time to get acclimated to a weight class and it was Canelo's first time at 160 when he fought GGG.
You know this though, you're just playing dumb and finding little weasel ways to defend GGG.
Meanwhile go head and ignore the idiot before me saying that Canelo was a light heavyweight when GGG fought him.Comment

He was fighting over the 154 pound limit in numerous fights. That tells me he really didn't belong in the JM division.Wow 2017, big difference. What a genius you are to be able to go on Boxrec and copy all that crap.

I think GGG's main issue on here is he ended up drawing serious beef from probably the 2 biggest fanbases on this site - Ward/Floyd/Wilder fans, and Canelo fans, because of his 'beefs' with Ward, Floyd and Canelo. All criticism of him flows from that, and it is often over the top imho.
He was a consummate pro who fought a lot of good fighters up until 35, and never came close to having an off night. At 35+ he has had some tougher opposition and closer fights. I personally only think one of those was an either way type of fight; he won the other 3 clean for me.
He was a great MW and had no real big holes in his game, and a lot of good parts to his game.Comment

He won the WBC, Ring, and Lineal middleweight titles, defended them once, then moved up to 164 before he fought GGG. Enough with the excuses.Wow 2017, big difference. What a genius you are to be able to go on Boxrec and copy all that crap.
